Good college overall, be it in studies or extra curricular activities

DTU is such a good college, that there wouldn't be any negative remark. Positive remarks include there is so much cleanliness in campus which makes it more beautiful. So many Dustbins are there. Plus, the campus is very good and peaceful.

Course Curriculum is very good in DTU. You can get everything you want in the books. The last 3 years consists of every subject which would be apt for a particular course. Exam structure is also very good. In one semester, there are two exams, mid semester and end semester.

Placement and job opportunities are excellent in DTU. In DTU, there is almost 100% placement record. Yes, our college provide internship though getting an internship is difficult than getting a placement. Internships do provide stipend and average stipend is ?15000 - ?20000.

There are many events celebrated in DTU. There are a lot of fests throughout the year. Engifest is the most popular fest in Delhi which happens in the month of February. Lot of other fests including Technical fest, sports fest, etc takes place.

Fee structure for DTU is feasible as compared to other Engineering colleges. Because it's a government college and not private college, it's fee is feasible comparatively. Fee at my time was around 1lakh/ annum.

Scholarships are provided to some of the students who are excellent at academics. Moreover, rank holders for a particular course are provided with cash rewards. Also, there is financial assistance provided to weaker sections of society.

Extracurricular activities are the one which makes DTU stand apart from other colleges. There are a lot of sports played there including football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, etc. There is a separate sports complex. Labs are well equipped with every instrument needed for a particular experiment.

Almuni network and senior students have played a major role in DTU. They are always willing to help their juniors. Ask them for help and guidance anytime and they would. They also take sessions on placement and other stuff, so that everyone can have a good careeer.

My admission consists of cumulative of two exams, one was the 12th Boards and other was JEE Mains. So, it was like 40% of Boards score and 60% of JEE Mains score. Rank is calculated on the basis of above criteria.

Faculty of the college is very good. They have throughout knowledge of the subject. Moreover, they are friendly and are willing to solve the doubts of the students. Students can ask them doubts any number of times and they will answer.
