Remarks

The college in itself is very focussed and producers doctors of high calibre and great repute. It has some of the finest faculties and facilities which help in the overall development of a student. The only issue arises with the hectic schedule and work load of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is vast and is difficult. Medicine is one of the most difficult courses out there and requires a lot of dedication and time. There are 3 internal assessments and 1 final exam conducted for each academic year

Placement Experience

4

There is compulsory internship after 4.5 years of studies in the hospital. It is for a period of 1 year. At the moment, interns receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 10000. Since the college producers high quality doctors, they easily get jobs and secure good colleges for post graduation

College Events

3.5

The college celebrates all national holidays with fervour. Apart from that, there is an annual inter collegiate fest, sports meets, conferences, NSS days, festivals etc. The administration and students come together and collaborate for the fruitful culmination of the events

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty expensive yet cheaper than the other colleges. The fees is paid every year in the month of September. At the moment, it is Rs. 13,68,750 per year. Most of the money goes to the hospital

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any loan or scholarship from the college however there is an SBI bank on campus which assists students in case they want loans. Several organisations help offer loans to students. Few students study at subsidised rates offered by the state government

Campus Life

4

There are multiple opportunities on campus for extracurricular activities. There are student run clubs, sports ground, badminton court, table tennis room, yoga room etc. All labs are well equipped. Students are encouraged to participate in activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors and alumni are very helpful and well established all over the world. It is a large network of some of the finest professionals who have brought laurels for the field a the college. Everybody is dedicated and focussed

Admission

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET is conducted every year in the month of May. The students thereafter participate in a counselling process and are allotted colleges based on their rank. The students then report to the college and fill the form and pay the fees

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly learned and experienced. They are extremely devoted and are always available to help the students. They are deeply invested in the field and are well respected in the field of medicine

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
