Remarks

There is no negetive remarks about my college. But they have to look through one important system moreover they have to change that one It is they have reduce jams while paying fees Apart from that no negetive remarks

Course Curriculum Overview

I studied civil engineering though it is a good subject for at present when we look from working industry presently real estate field is very low Exam. Structure was good but it is better if we had more practical

Placement Experience

2.5

When it comes to placement there are many companies visiting the campus every year for computer science department and all IT branch many students get placed But when it comes to Civil and Mechanical branch placement is less There is no internship

College Events

When it comes to Events First I need to discuss about Sports Very supportive sports department Nice coaching Participation in University level College day singing competition dancing competition and many more whoever wants to participate in extra curricular activities it was a nice platform

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not expensive reasonable fee structure And they will allow us to pay fee in instalments through But one disappointed thing is while paying fee it will create more Jam students have to wait too long They neeed to improve that system

Fees and Financial Aid

There was not any scholarship from the college side But every year at the time of convocation academic toppers will be awarded with case prize momentum and all but the scholarship from Government side was available

Campus Life

4.5

Good lab facility equipped with all the equipments which are all necessary for the experiments along with lab instructor with exceptional experience in their respective labs Computer facilities were awesome In sports there was availability of all sports equipment tooo

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini meet have started a year back but this year they have not conducted In the first alumni meet we met many seniors and spoke with them about the working industry their experiences It was very helpful

Admission

Appeared in common entrance exam and based on the ranking I got this college through preference given by us to choose which college we want based on that and also on our ranking seat allotment has done

Faculty

4.5

Good Faculty all facilities are good in their. Respective subject They were awesome because along with the subject they were supposed to teach some extra which is not in the syllabus also And life values in some point Very nice Facilities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

RIT - Hassan, a place you would regret going

I chose the college only because I wasn't able to attend CET back then and at that time this was the only college in our district with lowest priced management seats in it , And back then the college did lot of advertising regarding the college showing it was the best one here. The Malnad College of engineering hassan and Navkis college of Engineering in the same district are better than this since MCE is an autonomous tier-1 college which is better in every aspect, whereas Navkis College of engineering is VTU affiliated college like RIT but it has better placement assistance and record....Read More
