Decent college for average student with appreciatable placement record

Curriculum is well organized and upto standards though there is an issue with actual implementation and of all the activities and teaching pedagogy that has been laid out. Industrial visits were proposed but it was never executed. Though one can benefit from various events if student insist authorities to perform their role.

We have compulsory summer internship program in which we are placed with reputed brands and corporate organisation where we learn industry specific skills and knowledge. Also 100% placement is provided every year with number of companies taking part in campus placement

Number of events are regularly held to enhance student skills and giving them a holistic experience. As I am interested only in sports I can say almost all sports events are organised every year for the students. Every year there is a college fest in which various cultural events are organised.

For BBA student has to incur around 50000 per semester as program fee. Also 20000 is to be paid by student as admission fee at the beginning of course. All the payment modes are accepted though student mostly pay thorough demand draft. There are no hidden charges though fines are charged for the defaulters

Yes college does provide various scholarship for the deserving students based on 12 th scores and even semester performance. 10000 per semester is for those securing above 80 percent in 12 and same goes with semester scholarship.

Campus life is satisfactory with quite good gender ratio. Extracurricular activities are keep happening in our college. Students from all over India are united at ICFAI university Dehradun which helps in getting a comprehensive idea of various cultures.

Decent hostel facilities. Not very good but bearable services are provided. Basic services exist including furnished rooms and mess facility. Also transportation facility is in place for college students but the promised regular monthly tour at sensational tourist places is never fulfilled.

Interaction with senior is a good way to get the right opportunities and network. Also ICFAI do provide strong alumni network.

I was interested in doing BBA after 12 and IBS has a good brand name. Also they have an established office in Lucknow(my home city) so I was called there and after registering for the course I got my interview dates. After some days I appeared for the interview in which few basic questions were asked. Later I was informed that I was selected for the course

Only few faculties are expert in their domain subject and are enthusiastic about their teaching. Whereas most of them are teaching just for the sake of it and they are marking their presence without imparting knowledge to students. But overall its decent as few exceptional faculties make up for others laggards.
