A Good college for Civil engineering

Positive things: Labs Robust examination system Some good faculty Negative: Some bad faculty and management's decision to carry on with them ignoring students bad feedbacks. Sports facilities can be improved.

The curriculum is prescribed by state council and approved by aicte. In addition to that I would like to day the implementation of the curriculum is good. They take care of every subject. Exam structure is also as per the council rules. No cheating is allowed what so ever.

Placement percentage is about 30 percent i will say. Though i got job from campus placement. Yes college arrange for vocational training or internships. I got my vocational training at ITD cemetation for 1 month. Which was a very good learning curve and got paid too.

TechHetc: annual tech fest, This one is the biggest and kost interesting in my opinion. It comprises of various events robo zigger, hunt for fun , code debugging, counter strike, fifa, model display to name a few. Freshers welcome ceremony Annual sports Utkarsha: the annual cultural fest

Around 60k( including a caution money of 10k which is refundable after 1 year of passing out) for admission and then arround 45 k for each semester. It is feasible by contemporary standard. But if you compare with other colleges it may sound a little bit costly.

If you get good marks say above 8cgpa and your family income is low then you can apply for a scholarship. My friend got upto 40 percent off on tution fees. Also education loan facility is available with acis bank i guess.

Labs are very good. They are the biggest plus point of this college. Extra curricular activities i don't think they are good. There is a common room which have a TT board and a carrom. Other than than a very very small ground space is available.

No. Hostels are good. Food facilities everything is good. But the hostel is situated at a good 5 km distance from the college campus. And they don't provide transportation. So i opted for a PG nearby.

Yes there is a alumni meet happening annually. I did not get a chance to attend one though i was invited. So I'm not right person to comment on this. But i have not seen any ragging at campus. If you have some connection with seniors then yes you get help. But no organised way is available.

I already had a diploma in civil engineering. I haf 2 years of experience at l&t construction. I took jelet exam for lateral entry to btech and ranked 170. Then I chose some college at counselling. HETC was my 3rd choice. But it turbed out to be good.

In a single word satisfactory. Some are very good namely SBG for English communication, RJP for Structural analysis , Jb sir For over-all all subjects. Other than that more emphasis to be given. In this area I think more emphasis and care can be given.
