A journey worth sharing

I just want that 2 main reason that it is still not popular. It is still in it's temporary campus. Placement scenario of engineering students is not good. Government should focus on this aspect to improve the education quality.

Course curriculum is good. It's a merger of two courses Civil Engineering and Water Engineering. Exam structure is not that much difficult. The questions are of moderate type. The questions of CUCET is also of moderate type. The syllabus is not that much difficult. Syllabus for different branch is available on the website of CUJ.

Placement scenario of engineering department is not up to the mark. But yes if we talk about the B.Sc- B.Ed, Mass Comm, MBA and language department then their is a lot of chances of placement. Even this year MBA students are getting placed with a package of 4-5 lakh. Our college doesn't provide internship.

Their are many events that we celebrate in our college. They may be cultural, Sports or even Tech Fest. The Sports Fest named Khelotsav is celebrated from last 2 year. Tech Fest name Navadhar is celebrated by this year. Karma puja is celebrated by so much enthusiasm. Even Viswakarma puja, teachers day, Engineer's Day, World water Day, National and International conference also organised by students of different departments with the help of V.C. Sir and other facilities.

The fee structure is very feasible. Since it's a central university so the fees of education and hostel is very low and affordable. The hostel room charge is 1200 for 1 semester and mess charge is Rs. 2700 per month. The charge for curriculum is approx 7000 per semester.

I got scholarship from college Rs. 3200 for 1 semester. The Gate qualifiers and PhD students got scholarship from government. Some students get scholarship from Jharkhand and Bihar government that is E-Kalyan.

For the students who are interested in extra curricular activities has a good platform. Sports facilities are also available. Labs are in good condition. Though Some apparatus are not in working condition. Students take part in all types of games.

Yes I have opted for hostel. Because the hostel is in campus so it's quite safe and we get more time for studies. For 1 year they haven't provided hostel to 1st year students due to scarcity of hostel rooms. And also because it's not the in the permanent campus. At present the college is in temporary campus. The infrastructure of hostel is good. The campus is clean and green. We got WiFi facilities and light and water all time. 3 seaters and 2 seaters rooms are available.

Senior students and alumni are good and cooperative. This is a ragging free campus so we don't have any issues with senior. This is my personal experience that whoever are in my contact are very helpful. They give me proper guidance whenever I needed it.

I have appeared in CUCET 2015 EXAM. I have scored 43/100 marks. So on the basis of this a merit list has been prepared. After attending counselling I have selected water engineering department and then I got enrolled in this course. It's a 5 year course. After completing this I am going to get the degree of M.Tech. This is the plus point in this college.

Faculties are good. All the faculties are very helpful and cooperative. The way of teaching is good. All the faculties are highly qualified. Our H.O.D is professor. Dr. Ajay Singh is Associate professor. And the rest faculties are P.H.D holders.
