Remarks
The college is great, the academics, infrastructure, and everything are great. Though sometimes the language does provide a bit of the difficulty in the local amount the campus. The vast number of clubs gives us a major chance to learn and explore more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very flexible as you get to choose what subjects you want to take and when i.e you get to make your own timetable. There is a total of 3 exams. 2 of 50 Marks of which one is an open notebook test and a final which is 100 marks.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are excellent here. Our college is known for its high placements. Yes, it does provide internships too though I haven't done any yet some or rather most of the seniors that I know are doing some internship or the other.
College Events
We have many events that take place here. Actually, something or the other keeps going on every now and then. The highlights are the gravitas which is the technical fest for the tech aspect and the Riviera which is the cultural fest. Both are done in a grand manner.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It all depends on your rank. There are 5 categories which you are given according to your rank. The people with category one have to pay the least and the ones the category 5 have to pay the most. It's expensive if you are in a higher category.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does provide scholarships. It again comes down to your rank. If your rank is below 1000 in the viteee you get a good scholarship. Also, you get them according to your performance here at vit too. If you are a branch topper of amongst the top-ranked in your branch then you get some amount from the institute.
Campus Life
There are a number of extracurricular activities here. We have approx more than 150 clubs, which is more than almost any institute in this country. You can apply and get into them. Here there are sports facilities for various sports such as badminton, soccer, swimming, cricket, athletics, etc. Labs are also available for every subject that it is necessary for.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not that well aware of the alumni network but the seniors are very helpful. It doesn't matter if you personally know them or not, mostly they help you out just if you ask about something from them.
Admission
I had to go first give and qualify for the viteee exam, then according to my rank, it was decided whether I will be getting the course that I wanted to choose. According to your rank, you are given a date on which you can come and choose the course you want. The less your rank, the more choices you have, as the people with less rank get to choose first i.e a person with rank 10 gets to choose before a person with rank 20.
Faculty
The faculty team is vast and highly qualified. Most of them are very helpful but some can be a bit extra rigid. They mostly help you in whatever way it is possible. Some even give individual attention to the students while teaching which can't be said for other institutes I guess.
