Remarks

The college was very strict regarding attendance and cheating and students who failed to maintain required criteria wete given year back.

Entrance Preview

I sat for AIEEE And got 13000 rank. As I was a general candidate so With this rank I was able to get CIVIL engineering at around fourth counselling. Few of my friends also got selected for the same colege in earlier rounds so. I opted for this college as my firat preferences.

Course Curriculum Overview

My decision to opt for this college proved useful as this colege has very qualified professors who are always willing to teach and they encourage their student for research. Research facilities was also good.

Placement Experience

Companies like LARSEN AMD TOUBRO, SHAPOORJI, GAMMON INDIA, SAMSUNG CONSTRUCTION etc came, who selected almost 80% of students. With around package of 4 to 6 lpa. I was selected in L& T.

College Events

A lot of technical and cultural fest was organised by this college with participants of various colleges some lasts for 5 days while most of them last for 3 days vatiuos celebrities were also invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostels were average but internet facilities was excellent. 1 st to 3 rd year four students in one room, however last year single room were provided mess was good for quantity but not for quality. All fees was included in hostel fees of 30000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got HALF FREE SHIP offered by the college itself for the students with good academic background and parenta income less than 1 lakhs.

Campus Life

Female were more in CS IT branch than in any othwr branch facilities for extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions, like robotics, debates etc were provided as required.

Alumini network was not fair however senours use to help a lot.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Placement Experience:

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
