My sincere review of CET Payyanur

Positive remarks about college is they have good faculities and transportation facility is too good. The college management are very helpful if we are facing any problems in the campus. Negative side of the college is infra structurily , It is very bad and also college doesnt have much winning percentage and pricipal is not up to the mark

Course curriculum is ok but exam structure need to improve.Course curriculam includes: we have 8 semester included with 6 subjects and 2 practical. Course duration is about 4 year and also in final year we have a seminar presentation and project.Exam structure includes only 2 internal exam and during end of the semester we have university exam. My college follow the curriculam and exam structure of Kerala Technical University (KTU). Each subjects have 6 module for my batch. KTU had renewed their curriculam and exam structure from this ownwards.

My College provide internship per year. They give permission and leave for industrial visits, internship etc. My college have placement cell ,they help to seek and train our interview skills etc.During final years we have placement camp.My experience regarding this is too bad since we got only placements in IT fields which having very low stipend and Salary is very low

My colleges events and programs are very nice. College give permission to celebrate festivels like onam,holi,ifthar,christmas etc and also cultural fest, tech fest, Arts and sports meet. But they provide very low budget for some events. Freshers day and alumini day are not that up to the mark

Fee structure is not that much expensive. College provide merit seat and also for OEC students there is no fee. If we have good marks in +2 they give some % discount for fee. Its almost feasible. But if we have very less marks and no rank mangement or NRI seat is too expensive.There is no donation fee for our college

I got scholorship of 25k INR per year. College helps to provide loan facility. Some of my friends are paying fees by loan. College also give some consideration for late paying. My college give scholorship for students who having higher marks and also some of my friends are studying free of costs.

Extracurricular activities are very good we have yearly a game events like football,cricket,volleyball etc knock out matches, Arts fest and sports meet are conducted yearly. Labs are very good for mechanical and architecture branches. But some labs need modification. Infra structure needs to modify

Alumini networks are too helpful since they help to provide post graduation or short term course choosing.They also helped me to understand the procedure the college follows. They helps to maintain friendship with seniors. They also the part of anti raging

I wrote entrance exam and also I had 88% in +2. Also assured 33234 rank in KEAM. Therefore I got merit mangement seat. One of my friend suggested this college. Then we visited the college. I got intrested since the had started architecture course ( B arch) and also its only 20 km away from my home.

Faculities are too good, Because they are supportive and they have nice characters like helping mentality,caring,supporting etc ,mejority faculities are have much knowledge and innovative ideas but some are too bad and they dont know how to take class. Sometimes we could'nt catch what they are telling
