Remarks
There are many positive points to list down, but moving to the main points, the college is located at the city center so transport is not a big issue. The Pune Metro passes through our college which is a great advantage as well. The infrastructure is also pretty good in my opinion.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam structure is pretty well designed according to me but the course curriculum should be revised as the students don't get sufficient time to explore their additional or extra skills or talents. Due to 75% attendance criteria it becomes very hectic to manage curricular as well as extra curricular activities.
Placement Experience
Placements have increased since last year due to A+ accreditation by NAAC. Job opportunities are good for selected branches like computer or entc. But for Civil, Mech and the other branches the campus placement experience as far my knowledge is not that great.
College Events
We have many events that take place in our college. Our technical fest is a national level competion, Engineering Today, in which present innovation and ideas are appreciated. Our cultural fest Ashwamedh is also celebrated on a grand scale where in colleges from all over Maharashtra participate. And other small events also take place in the whole year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible as far engineering is considered. And according to the level of learning provided the fee structure is pretty good. And if you are among the rank holders or if you have any scholarship or reservation then the government even helps you in the fees as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lots of scholarships provided by the Government. A special MahaDBT portal is designed for the scholarship purpose exclusively. I am also a beneficiary of the scholarship provided by them. You can easily get a personal loan as well.
Campus Life
There are lots of extra curricular activities which take place in the entire year. Many sports events like Shahu Trophy and Shivaji Trophy are held every year. We even have Interdepartment Sports and Cultural activities as well. Our college's cultural team also participates in various competitions throughout the year.
Alumni/Alumna
I being a member of the cultural team and currently working as a Joint General Secretary of Cultural Department there are many senior students who willingly help me out in every way possible. The alumni network is also very strong. Alumni meet is held every year without fail.
Admission
You can get your admission through various engineering entrances such as MHCET or JEE Mains. And if there's vacancy left after all the CAP rounds then you can also reserve your seat through Management rounds as well.
Faculty
Faculty of our college is well qualified and upto the mark. But as I've mentioned earlier very few faculty members believe in overall growth of the student. They just think that a student should study day in and out and should not indulge in any other thing. Otherwise the faculty is very good in teaching.
