Remarks
It's my second year here and still, I have ever nothing negative here. I'm well adjusted to everything here. So yeah, my overall feedback is positive. And I'm very excited about next year's to see how it goes here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is a fully flexible credit system. So we can select which subjects we want to study. And each course has to complete a fixed number of credits before graduation. The exam system is slot wise. It is either a digital or a pen-paper test.
Placement Experience
The placements are good enough. And, yes. They do provide internships. They support practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge. And for my subject, you can visit any lab you like and start your experiment there. As I'm in the second year, I didn't do any internships yet. I'll be doing one this year.
College Events
This might go way too long. There are so many events celebrated here. The university has more than 100 clubs. Which includes technical and nontechnical clubs. So every day there is an event by some of the club. Apart from these two main fests here are Gravitas (technical fest) and Riviera (cultural festival).
Fee Structure And Facilities
To be very honest. I guess it's a bit expensive for the engineering courses. It sure is. But my course is good and cheap. It is perfect. And yes feasible too. So it was never a problem for me. It has always been good
Fees and Financial Aid
The top 10 students from each course are offered scholarship by the university on university day. And I guess a loan is offered to people who really need it. I didn't need it yet not did I get a scholarship yet.
Campus Life
The labs are good. Everything is maintained well. You can carry on with your experiments after your classes. It's not a big deal. And sports is good too, all the sports are available here. You name it, we have it.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good. The mess and food overall are good. The hostel has all the facilities needed which include a swimming pool, gym, indoor games, table tennis, etc. The infrastructure is good too. So overall it's a 9/10
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. My seniors are super sweet and helpful. As this is a ragging free campus so we interacted quite well with our seniors. They helped me out almost with everything. They are such gems which you can't lose.
Admission
The usual process is by the entrance exam conducted by the Institute. The test is known as VITEEE. This is the exam through which a merit list is made and all engineering courses are given admission. But for the course, I'm persuing the process is entirely different. We were asked to fill a form and send it by post the documents. After reviewing the documents, on the basis of 12th marks, the cutoff list was formed and we were called for counseling.
Faculty
The faculties of my university is well educated and most of them are doctorates and are experts in their field. They have good theoretical and practical knowledge. They are supportive and will guide you throughout.
