VIT is very particular about the rules. There are so many research facilities. The placement opportunities are amazing. The infrastructure of the college is on par with the top universities of the world.
Course Curriculum Overview
VIT has a very flexible curriculum. Students are given the option to choose the subjects of their choice and select teachers allotted to that particular subject. They can also select whether they want to have theory in the morning hours or lab in the morning hours. This way the whole time table can be customized by students themselves.
Placement Experience
VIT has a very high placement record. There are more than 30 super dream companies for internships and a full-time jobs with a package of more than 9 lakhs. Every student generally gets placed at least in the regular offer. And then there are more than 200 companies offering dream packages.
College Events
The college conducts a technical fest called Gravitas, in which students from another college also can participate in events and workshops organized. The cultural fest is Riviera and it's the most happening time in the college. There are celebrity singers performing at the concerts and pro shows.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on the rank secured in the VITEE exam. Based on the category of the student, the fee is assigned. Higher the category higher the fee. So it's totally in the hands of the student, the better he performs in the exam better his fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarships available to students who are from well to do family. The students from rural backgrounds get concessions on their fees and they are called Star students. They are taught by industry professionals on weekends.
Campus Life
VIT has more than 50+ chapter and clubs which keep conducting events thought the year. This way the student can improve his managing and leadership skills. It also helps students know how things work in a professional environment.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a specific chapter for Alumni of VIT. They mainly help students make connections in industries. The chapter is to help students have connections with the Alumni and it also helps passed out students with their higher education work.
Admission
The admission process happens based on the ranks secured in the VITEE exam. Based on the ranks secured, students are separated into categories and then admission happens in slots. Each slot consists of people present in that category and they can choose the branch they want to be based on the availability.
Faculty
Faculties have professional behavior and they have a lot of experience in their field of expertise. Each faculty has research scholars working under them on ongoing research. They are very encouraging when it comes to research work.
