Remarks :
The infrastructure of the college is one that should be pointed out. The 4 clock towers in the campus has its own architectural beauty. The strict schedule according to the university academic calender makes some events loose its colour.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is under APJ Abdul Kalam Technology University and University exams and courses are conducted according to the university time table. The curriculum prepared by the university is followed by the college. Also 2 internal exams are conducted in each semester.
Placement Experience :
The college has an impeccable placement record. Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services and Cognizant are some of the major recruiters in the campus. The college does not directly provide any internship facilities, but the Viswajyothi Business Incubation Center inside the campus has companies that provide internship to the students. Thus the student gains industry experience and stipend varies according to industry.
College Events :
Bhodhi is the Annual Tech Fest of Viswajyothi and Drishya and Drona is the Annual arts and sports Fest of Viswajyothi. These two flagship events attract students from nearby colleges and these events showcase the technical and non technical skills of the students. Other events inside the college are union day, college day,various department days etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The annual tution fee comes around 75000 and other fees like internet fees around 3000 (internet fees, placement training fee). This is the fixed rate for all the private colleges. And this is somewhat expensive when compared to other government college in Kerala.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are various scholarship schemes from Central government for students and students who has high entrance scores and plus two marks get scholarships from the college itself. Having high scores in Physics Maths and Chemistry in Plus two can reward you a scholarship.
Campus Life :
The extra curricular activities here are well taken care of. There are separate spaces for cricket, football and basketball. Also there is an indoor stadium for tennis and badminton. The labs are well maintained and meet all the university standards
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network of the college is vast and they keep in touch with the faculties and senior students are helpful for other students in sharing knowledge. They also conduct various activities inside the college which makes the campus more lively and engaging.
Admission :
I qualified Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance examination and opted for BTech with entrance rank. Admission is based on 3 quotas - Management, Merit and NRI. Each quotas has its own admission procedure.
Faculty :
The faculties here have excellent expertise in various engineering fields and their teaching skill is also appreciable. A lot of faculties here have done their post graduation and have years of industry experience which helps the students.
