IIIT Gwalior, Less Known but a great college

Management of college is a bit slow. There are lots of things that can be changed.As the strength of college is increasing drastically we need new buildings and more facalities now as old facalities are not upto the mark for so many students.It will exhaust in 2-3 years.

The course curriculum is set by MHRD and it is as per international standards.The exam structure is divided in two groups.Major exam and Minor exams there are 2 minors in 1 sem and 1 major.Marks distribution is upon faculties.

College have TIIC which provides internship opportunity. And have lots of startups running under it which provides a good opportunity to first, second, third-year students to get an internship without much experience. The stipend usually depends upon workload. It can range from 4K to 10K.

College have three major events i.e. Aurora (cultural) ,Infotsav(technical),Tavaran(inter college sports fest).The events occur in alternative years.The footfall for aurora is usually 12000+ and it is one of the best part of your college life

Feasible as it is an government Institute.The approx cost for a year is 3 lpa.Which includes hostel and mess and academic fees.College have well maintained loan feature which provide easy loan facility to students.

College provides scholarship to students who have annual income less than 4 lpa.The loan system is also well maintained.The scholarship is provided in every batch with some academic criteria and on basis of jee rank.

The sports complex is built beautifully. The labs are also well equipped. Their lots of extracurricular activities happening in college one have to step out of the room to explore. We have lots of clubs which keep organizing one or other events.

Hostel has a nice infrastructure with lots of indoor games facilities and rooms are also well maintained and have quite large space.The authority doesnt impose unnecessary rules on students which is a good practice.

Seniors are very helpful and alumni also remains in contact with college which provide opportunities to students.We have mainted a good connection with alumni through AASF. The seniors also takes regular class to teach us basic things in field of IT.

To get admission one has to clear JEE Mains with a rank in range 8K to 21K. Jee is one of the toughest exam in india and clearing it requires a constant hardwork and dedication.After getting shortlisted for college one of to go through JOSAA.Which allocates seats to student.You will be needing documents which will be provided on josaa website.

The faculty is similia to any other faculty of government college. They all are PhDs.The teaching method is similar to the nationwide use method i.e. with the help of ppts. But they have good connection which helps in getting referral in other iits and companies.
