Remarks

Top rated college in Kerala.have beautiful garden infront of college.very eco-friendly campus with big ground and basketball court.canteen for 500 students and food is available at minimum rate.more quantity.

Course Curriculum Overview

2 internal exams and University exam for each subjects. University exam is out of 100 marks, internal exams are out of 20 marks each.subjects are very tough and time consuming.time is very less to get prepared for exam

Placement Experience

No internships are provided, placements are in good position, computer science branch have 100 percentage placements, all departments are encouraging students to brought up with startups and more projects.

College Events

Mits tech fest,varnam arts fest, cultural festival, holi being celebrated well, annual sports meet help to develop skills in sports, periods are allocated for sports, basket ball court is of high quality.

Fee Structure And Facilities

75000 per year additional fees 22000.it is feasible.no extra fees is required, scholarships are allowed by college to students, it is an encouraging step for students, loan facilities are possible, no problem

Students scoring above 8 cgpa will get scholarship of college, rs 8500 per year, loan facilities are also provided by the college, have timing in fees remittance and proper consideration for all students

Scored 21376 in Kerala entrance exam got admission on second allotment, have 89 marks on mathematics in +2 so it is easy to get admission. I got scholarship also, electrical branch have 63 seats so admission is easy

Very interactive and supportive, help to get more marks and help to develop soft skills like public speaking and support to do projects, they guide everyone and help to understand basics and fundamentals.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
