RNS is overall one of the best colleges of Karnataka

Positive - for a studious student who is really interested in engineering should be the part of RNSIT family. Best college in case of Academics. And for this I am proud of my college. Negative - in Rnsit you will not get any extra circular activities. You will have but very less opportunities. There are 3 clubs namely drama club, dance club and fashion club active in our college campus.

Ece is the best branch of RNSIT from this branch I am pursuing my bachelors degree. Is affiliated to VTU. Exam pattern: Every month u have to give test which is known as internal test and before test u have to sumbitt assignment for each and every subject which have a weight age of marks. In 3 internal u have to score minimum of 18 marks to be eligible for giving external exams that are conducted by University.In btech there are 4 years and total of 8 sems. And this pattern is same for every branch.

Overall placement of RNSIT had set a benchmark for other Bengaluru private ete colleges. CSE = 100% Placement, Ece= 98% placement, And every other branch have placements ratio near to 95%, Mechanical and architecture branch have less placements as compared to other.

Hostel fest. 1. UTOPIA It is a hostel fest that is celebrated every year it is the best time of the year for hostel students no one outside of hostel can participate in this fest there are around 150 events in this and it went on for almost a week. College fest. 1.PARICHAY Its a college fest basically it is a intracollege fest there are many number of programs and eve and in this fashion show that is ramp walk is one of the awaited event of the evening. 2 Pantheon It is a intercollege fest and students of different college come to Rnsit have fun enjoy programms and it is one of the best part of Engineering life.

Fee structure for students who come through comedk is expensive for year 2019 batch cost per year is 2,10,000 and for students who come to Rnsit through CET that is state exam is around 60,000 per year which is 3 times less.

State government of Karnataka provides a good scholarships for students who comes through CET state exam and even college provide loans from CANARA bank which have a branch in college itself and from that u can sanction loan for a certain period of time

If we talk about lab Rnsit have very sophisticated labs with all very new and trending equipments and lab staff is also very known and updated about methods and ways of doing experiments. In senerio of extracurricular activities rnsit somewhere lags behind so you have chance of only playing basketball cricket or badminton.

Hostel is normal no WiFi, Security is good, Proper water facilities and now mess food is also changed to a certain better level which I think is a bench mark if compared to other college mess food. There are 3 and 4 sharing rooms on hostel. No connection between girls and boys hostel. 24 hours water supply. Cold and normal water facility with RO system. So opting for hostel is a good decision.

Seniors of my college helped me a lot in different manner they helped regarding my course regarding facilities and how can I get exposures and also in different manners. So yes, even alumni came to college several times and interacted with us and helped a lot.

For admission in RNSIT u need to qualify one of 2 exams 1 COMEDK Consortium of medical engineering and dental colleges of karnataka. This is the exam which have centres all over the India and from this exam u can easily get admission in this college to get admission in rns for CSE you need to have a rank between 3k to 5k and for ECE u should have rank between 8k to 10 k. 2 CET It is a state test for the aspirents from Karnataka coming to this college via CET is beneficial because fee structure is less compared to Comedk.

Academic part of RNSIT is one of the strict areas of evaluation. No fun and pun is allowed during lectures. Each and every faculty is of other level so talented 80% of our teachers and lecturers are PHDs. Everything is done time to time. Every moth there are test to check the growth of a student which is the important point so overall avade8part of RNSIT is perfect.
