Remarks

My college have a very small campus comparing with other colleges but still we have had a great fun and made beautiful memories. It will be great if we've a proper sports ground. Hope there will be one soon, so that the sports men and women can properly practice and participate.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was good but it may collapse at sometimes because of the lack of time.We had 6th semesters. In each semester we had three internal exams for each subject. At the end of the each semester University exams are held.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes there were placements and job opportunities provided from college. At the end of the final year there were recruitment drives of various companies conducted in our college. Various job opportunities for the students of different streams. Also the faculties had informed us about the placement drives which are conducted outside the college in various other places. That was a great experience to travel to different places and to know more about the companies which is related to my stream. Since I was a computer science student I came to know more about the IT companies and I had attended many interviews and placement drives. I came to know more about the the behaviour and more informations of a corporate job. There was companies which provide stipend of about 2 lakh per annum.

College Events

4.5

we had different events in our college. Arts fest, sports fest, mehendi fest, tech fest, food fest, film fest, the association events, college day admin events which are conducted in our college. The association events are majorly conducted by the association representatives of the college. Will be having seminars, presentations, talks related to different topics of different streams. For the arts and sports fest, we will be having logo reveal, inaugurationn functions. There will be a major guest and radius programs arranged on that day. The techfest which is conducted once in three years will be a great opportunity for the whole students to come up with their innovations. The food fest is more like a competition between different associations. Mostly, the association with more members in number will win the fest. The film fest is conducted by the film club, which will be conducted for 2 days where movies of different genres, the awarded movies and social relevant movies are theatred.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is varied through different semester. It is not the same for each semester. Also it is different for different streams. It is feasible also there are scholarships provided for those who are not able to remit the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship provided for SC , ST students. Also there are scholarships for students under OBC. Didn't want to completely remit the fee and also show so they can have a specific amount of money in each semester.

Campus Life

4

The computer labs and electronic labs have a very good infrastructure with all the the required equipments. Some of the equipments on not in a working condition still the students are properly scheduled so they can have proper lab sessions. The sports and arts fest arranged in every year. We will be having a general captain and arts secretary for arranging all these programs. There will an arts club and the programs conducted on special occasions are carried out by this arts club. The general captain arrange different sports meets athletics, cricket, football, volleyball, Kabaddi, badminton, shuttle and various other competitions and the sports fest is arranged for 2 days. Chess, Rubik's cube were also arranged. These days are the most active days in our college. The arts fest is a major page in an academic year. The different talents are portrayed in on and off stage. All students will have fun and a lot of memories to keep with them.

Alumni/Alumna

We actually celebrated our silver jubilee last year that is on the final year of my college. Many alumnis had attended the function but still we missed a lot of them. The senior students, the members of alumni network were major part of the the program. They had talked about their college days, their college life where a lot of nostalgia and memories were spread. They were helpful and a very important part in the silver jubilee year.

Admission

Since I am not so interested in engineering after my 12th standard I was looking for a college which is not too far away from my home town and also where I can learn something with better experiences. Then I came to know about IHRD College of applied science.I had applied through online and also I had submitted the admission forms directly in the office along with the mark sheets of higher secondary. After a few days I was called from the office saying I was shortlisted and should attend an interview. I went through an interview with the officials and the principal and I cleared it. Later I submitted my 10th and 12th certificates, admission papers and also paid the admission fee. I was told about the rules and regulations, structure of the examinations and about various activities that will be conducted in that academic year.

Faculty

4.5

We have very good faculty in our college. Our principal himself is a very nice person who knows the students very well. Our principal is a playback singer and we had great talented faculties in our college. They were very supportive and encouraging. They had helped us a lot to build a career path and also to be supportive to ourselves for knowingg our own talent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
