L&T, Accenture, Atlas Copco, Mahindra &Mahindra, Eaton, etc., are the top recruiters of our college. About 50% of the students got internships in companies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam pattern is little complex. There are several exams but mainly divided in 2 major and 2 minors. The college is autonomous hence it conducts its own exams. The marking scheme is 20 for internal, 30 for half term and 50 for term end.

The invents in our college are taken by art circle which is an event organiser of an our college.Conducted by SOFTA and may be the best event for campus simulation. Forex : Conducted by Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli in year 2011. Prudence : Conducted by PACE. Vertex : Conducted by MESA-MESC. Rainbow for physically and mentally challenged children: Conducted by Rotaract Club of WCE Sangli.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship which are given by government only. There are no extra scholarship schemes solely by college committee. The students of casts get scholarship as per their annual family income and other relevant documents submission each year.
Campus Life
Sports is given high preference in the college just like academics this is one of the best thing of the college because physical score is as important as your academic score. Labs are clean and neat and costly equipment are available for use to the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, per year there is an alumnia meet of our senior students. They guide us for various thinking level in today's life. WCE was founded in Sangli with just over 60 students. Today, it has more than 4,000 students taking various courses in Engineering and Technology. We create opportunities not just for young minds to learn, but also for them to experience the fulfillment that comes from sharing this learning with others. At WCE, we are always focused on delivering education that will help create the leaders of tomorrow’s world – our students will not just be successful in their individual capacities, but will in turn, contribute to and nurture the world they live in.
Admission
I will get the admission by the merit list of the government. This is an a government added atnomus institute.The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination by a recognized board. Admissions are done on the basis JEE Main/MHT CET score. MHT CET qualified candidateS with a minimum of 40% marks can get admission to the college after counselling process.
Faculty
Faculty of our college are best than the other colleges. They are fully supportive and cooperative. They mix up the Students and enjoy the learning.Faculties are experienced mostly. The staff is full of brilliant teachers. There are still faculties which have teaching experience more than 25 years too. The college is well known for the staff it has got.
