Remarks
College campus is great. It is situated in the laps of Himalayas. The environment is hood, friendly. Academics and classes are regular. But placement cell guys should take their jobs much carefully.Otherwise it is a good institute.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is a 4 year undergraduate course. There are 2 semester exams in one year. Basically we have learnt about various electronics circuits and communication methods( like digital and analog communication) as well as coding in different programming languages so that the students can get hited in various IT companies.
Placement Experience
No my college doesn't provide internship. A student has to find it by themselves. It's quite a bad situation here. Placements are quite good. Nowdays many it companies like Capgemini and all ate coming to our campus for recruitment of fresher's.
College Events
There are so many things that celebrated in our campus. Like swarasti pujo and biswakafma pujo. A 7 day fest is generally organised by 3rd year students.Not only that but also there is aprom night after the techfest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Or college is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of technology. So the fee structure is decided by the authoiry. Generally It is not so much expensive when you compare it with the other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually I am not aware about the loan facility. But there is a Tfw quota. If someone is unable to pay their fees and they belong to tfw quota,then the semester fees will reduced significantly. It reduced a lot.
Campus Life
Labs were very much disciplined. If you miss the labs, then your marks will be deducted. Some of the teachers in labs are very much strict. A daily contineous evaluation process is going on based on the recent experiment that we have done.
Hostel Facilities
The food quality was not so good. But the friendship was good. If you want to opted for hostel then it will be good idea as the infrastructure was good enough. Attached bathroom and moderate rooms are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has so many good alimunis. One of our alumunis is currently working with Indian Space Research Organization. They are very much helpful. If you contact them then they will surely help you if they can
Admission
After passing class 12th, Wbjee board conducted joint entrance exam. As per meritlist candidates can fill up their choices and an online counseling process is going on. After that, based on their rank they got their colleges.
Faculty
Well, Faculties of my college are quite good. They are disciplined. Some of them have good practical knowledge and some of them are funny and a good sense of humour. One of our former Faculties has been awarded as the best teacher in the state.
