IIJEE-6500 approx JEE MAINS-12400 approx WBJEE- 747 At 6500 general category student cannot get the good branches in IIT. So, it was out of option. Then, under JEE mains BIT mesra was only of the good college providing good branch. Few people recommended me to it also.

The course curriculum is a bit outdated. Books followed is also of old edition. New edition books are published to add new founding and to remove obsolete things. Same process should be followed by college administration.

Yes, the college provide internship.Generally, all the companies coming for internship are for CSE branch, so, other branches suffer a bit.

The placement is very good for CSE branch. And ok for rest of the branches.This year companies like Goldman Sachs(35k),Amazon(30k),Flipkart,Kronus,DirectI,Zostel Hospitality,etc.

There is Technical event called Pantheon and a cultural event BITOTSAV. Cultural event is of very large scale compared to technical event.

Fee structure is a bit expensive.

Yes a scholarship is provided to students whose family income is below certain amount and if the student's performance is above the required criteria then he/she can avail scholarship.

Campus Life- Very good, lots of greenery. Gender Ratio- Quite good in comparison to IIT and many leading engineering colleges. Diversity- Lots of students from Andra Pradesh come to the college. And other majortiy comes from state UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, MP, Rajasthan.

On a scale of 10. I would rate Hostel facilities-6 Mess food-6.

Alumni network is quite strong there is a group of BIT Mesra in which many students are added (current as well as old). If there is some problem in college we discuss it on that group and if problem is too big for us to handle our alumnis definitely reach out to us to solve it .But there is not much interaction between senior and juniors.But if you know someone beforehand in the college then they are helpful.

Many teachers are qualified to teach and some are not.Many faculty teach with the aim of completing the syllabus, they should be more research oriented and encourage students to do projects.
