Entrance Preview

I took CET (common entrance test) for it. I got 116 rank ( lateral entry). I have chosen this college because it has good reputation and it comes on 2nd position in IPU, USIT is on first position, but it don't have lateral entry. I have taken the CS because i have interest in it and it has been good placement score over other courses.

Internships Opportunities

Till now i have no experience of the college internship. Will updates soon with my personal experience on it. But as i seen for my seniors. Many Companies came for them, but the stipend were not to high.

Placement Experience

4.5

Here lot of companies visit for campus requirement. Recently Accenture and Infosys came for placement and they took approx 440 and 250 respectively both offers Rs.3.25 lacks/year. Other companies recently visited were SAMSUNG, OPERA, PAYU MONEY and many others. Overall the placement is good specially for CS and IT in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is the one of the most expensive college in IPU. It's fee is about Rs.97,000 per year and one time rs.5000 security fee(refundable) and if you want to take book bank you have to deposit extra rs.5000 for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Don't know much about the loan facilities offered by the college. But if you have any cast quota then you can fill the govt. scholarship form, but college don't provide any type of scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ratio is approx 50-50. In almost every branch except in mechanical and electrical branches. The college has many societies which any one can join. They all organize the different workshop, cultural programs time to time. Mainly the tech oriented workshop help in large numbers. Their is no politics i have seen till now. But the economic status cause the problem many times. Mostly the students came from higher societies. Their is no any type of racial discrimination and raging i have seen in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Till now we don't have interaction with alumni, but we have good experience with our seniors. If you approach them for any type for help mostly will help you. You can even ask them for their notes and guidance in any of the subject, they will not let you down.

Exam Structure

All the exams patterns, papers and the exam date on decided by the University. College don't have any control on them. But teachers frequently takes the surprise test in the class. And the labs exam date is also decided by the university.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is good mostly of them are young and all of them have minimum M.tech degree. Mostly of them are very good in teaching and good experience except some of them less than 5% of all the faculty. They are very helpful. We can approach th

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
