Course Curriculum Overview

The college provides 11 courses under broad categories.In my entire course of B.Sc the concepts taught was on an average scale.We cannot compare it to the top notch university but it is not that bad too. There are internal exams and end semester exams.

Placement Experience

The placement in the college is average but the internships provided are really good and provide good stipends.One of my senior was also allowed to do an internship at Mumbai but he had to take prior permission from college authority.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives scholarship facilities like free studentship and other national and state based scholarships. In order to avail loan facilities you need to submit a Bonafide certificate and get it signed from the college authority and then apply for it.

There are many facilities and extra curricular activities in the college like:- Blood donation camp Survey of fishing cat on wetland habitat 2.4 acre lush green campus Smart and virtual classroom Purified drinking water Dedicated cycle stand. Power backup and solar lightning facilities Reprographic facilities in library WiFi and internet facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

There are many notable alumnis ,some of them are mayors,some are police commissioner and there is occasional alumni meet. The seniors are really helpful and friendly and we can turn to them in case of any problem whatsoever .

Admission

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. The main criteria is that you need to have 45% aggregate and 45% in the subject one is going for further study.You need to apply online in the online admission portal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

Teachers are very good and the atmosphere of the college is very good, which helps students to concentrate on their studies. Each department has its own departmental library.
