Placements are pretty much good. Many good recruiters come in for placements. Internships under very renowned directors are provides by the college. The students get pretty good stipend for the internship too. Most of the students start working in the same set under the same director when they do internships.

The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls studying various courses. The hostel provides spacious, clean and well-maintained rooms. Along with adequate arrangements for lodging as well as hygienically prepared food. The college also has sufficient security to ensure the safety of students residing in the hostel under the watchful eye of the hostel wardens.

Alumni/Alumna

And senior students are so helpful in the subjects explaining and they also suggests the future job opportunities and goal settings they are providing the students studying materials tooo they’re cooperating with us.

Admission

The college holds its own entrance test. A merit list comes out of the students who qualify in the entrance exam on the college website. These students then have to go for the interview round which happens in the college campus. I got selected and gave the interview which went pretty good. Then I got a mail as the offer letter for admission into the college.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very dedicated and hardworking. They work day and night to provide notes to the students, give proper description of the basic concepts and also clear the doubts of the students. They are very helpful and cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the course because it was my passion to serve for democracy being the fourth pillar of it. There were 4 faculty members in total and 40 students. The faculty members came from different universities. Our HOD Dr Mausumi Bhattacharya has completed her Post Doctoral fellowship from ICSSR. The exams were held twice a year based on the semester system. They were quite moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is student-friendly. The students have access to the Mac Lab and Media Lab, there is also a departmental library. Though the infrastructure is not great, the faculty members still try their best to help the students in any way possible, by arranging many workshops and seminars. The focus is generally on developing academic and research aptitudes in students alongside helping them develop technical skills with limited facilities.
