If you have done an Arts graduation and want to study Material Management at the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Kolkata, there are relevant courses. The Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM) is a two-year distance program (4 semesters), open to graduates of any discipline. Its curriculum includes purchasing, inventory, supply chain, ERP, project management, and emerging trends. The course fee is about INR 87,900 for the full program at the Kolkata centre. There is also a Diploma in Materials & Logistics Management (DMLM), a weekend/online course for graduates with or without experience. It gives exposure to procurement, warehousing, logistics, ERP, and statistical methods, with a total fee of INR 30,000.
