Course Curriculum Overview

My course of btech in this college has been really good specially because of good teaching wonderful friends and much more and the management too is really good. There are internals lab assignments practicals and semester examinations.

College Events

there are many events celebrated in the college like the independence day republic day annual sports cultural fests and activities and much more there is lot to explore in this college and I hope you will have a good college life here

The fee structure goes like these:- B.Tech full fees-3,25,000 SC ST female-2,70,000 Under scholarship-2,14,000 Lateral full fees-2,58000 For CE-2,40,000 For EE-1,90,000 For ECE-1,60,000 For CSE-1,30,000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the colleges average and association meet takes place where they come motivate and inspire us. The seniors too are really good and caring and take care of us like their own brothers and sisters.

Admission

I got admission into this college through the west bengal joint entrance examination. Every thing Is done in the online portal i.e www.wbjeeb.nic.in and then after you need to sit for counselling and report to college for verification of documents.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is average some of them are really good well some of them at par but then you need to depend upon the class notes of different class YouTube and other sources. Maintain a good relationship with them so as to get good internal marks.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .
