Remarks

This is one of the greatest and ancient universities located in North Bengal, I am presently studying here and is quite amazed to see the great campus space. Also there is an library and computer lab inside the campus

Fee Structure And Facilities

I am doing MBA from NBU and paid almost 70,000-80000 per year as course fees. I also wanted to do MBA post completing my BBA and luckily I got selected in this university. I am looking forward to have a great and flourishing career ahead

Alumni/Alumna

All the senior students at my college are good and helpful. Also there is an anti-ragging committee in my college so that whosoever gets involved in troubling his/her juniors get punished by the management and can become a lesson for many others as well.

Admission

The students can directly apply for admission at NBU, I cleared CAT exam to get admission in this university. Luckily I scored high percentile and my application was carried forward for the nest level. All my hard worked paid me well

Faculty

My teachers are truly an inspiration for thousands of students like me, I am truly blessed to get education from some of the best teachers and professors who are sharing their knowledge with us so that we can become the leaders of tomorrow.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

Placement Experience:

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

My college life

I apply for other colleges also as I didn't get much facilities there like comprehensive studying library, canteens facilities, etc. I don't get rejection from the other colleges that I have applied the reasons behind not choosing those is the facilities that I didn't found . The admission process was online; we needed to fill out our details through portals, and there was a specific verification date when we called regarding the verification of our application. After that, if everything was okay, then our admission was confirmed. Then, after a few months, standalone admission was introduced in my college, which helped many students get their pending admission.
