Remarks

Importance of Attendance is very high in this college due to which you feel like as if you're in a school. Also checking of papers is really really strict and due to which you cannot get very good pointers and hence if you're planning to study in the future the college pointer let's you down.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Course curriculum is okayish. Many of the subjects and concepts taught are old. The course is not updated with the latest technologies. Practically implementation of the things taught is limited. Instruments used for practical are also quite old.

Internships Opportunities

Yes both options for internship are available. One you can find an internship yourself and other in which the college provides you the internship. Also a third option is there where you can do a research project within the college under the supervision of faculty. Many of the companies don't provide stipend. And if they do it's very less.

Placement Experience

2.5

The amount of placements are good but the quality of placements are not that upto the mark. Almost 70-80% of people are placed and the rest 20-30% usually opt to study further. The avg package that is obtained is 2.4 L per annum. The lowest package is 1 L per annum. And the highest package is 10 L per annum. Many companies like Cadence, Honeywell, Reliance, Larsen and Turbo, Infosys, TCS, Byju's, E-Infochips, Meditab, Volansys etc come for placements.

College Events

1.5

No major events take place in the college. An annual week long Socio-Techfest called FELICIFIC is conducted during the first week of March. Other than that no major fixed events take place. Although recently Women Awareness Programs are conducted which are organised by the Government of Gujarat.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are 3 types of fee structures with some sub- structures. 1. GIA (Grant in Aid): The fees in this case are just ?1500 per semester 2. SFI(Self Finance): The fees in this case is around ?70,000-75,000 per semester. 3.NRI(Non Resident Indian): In this case a fees of around $5000-$5500 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are someone in the BPL category then you get a TFW scheme( Turion Fee Wavier). In this scheme the Tution fees are waivered off and you only have to pay the remaining fees. This reduces the amount of fees significantly. Loan facility is also available.

Campus Life

3

Labs are okayish. Many of the equipments are old, outdated, broken or missing. Sports center is there where you have 2 badminton courts and 2 table tennis courts. Rackets can be issued by the Id provided by the College. Other extracurricular activities are also less.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel provided by the College is amazing. It is a 3 storeyed building. The rooms are big enough with good mess and 2 canteens out of which one canteen is open 24*7. Also there are 4 Deluxe rooms on each floor which have premium facilities like refrigerator, television, air conditioning and additional bathroom. Hot water is also available in all the rooms during the morning period of 6:30 am to 11 am.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always very helpful. There is 0% ragging in the college. The bond between seniors and juniors is very good and healthy. The alumni network is also good and annual alumni meets are organised by the College.

Exam Structure

Each semester is of 4 months and 3 sessional exams are conducted each after one month. At the end of 3 sessional exams practical exams are conducted and within 10-15 of the practical exam the final Semester Exams are conducted. Also no holiday is provided between these exams, i.e. 5 exams will be conducted in 5 consecutive days without any holiday for preparation of the next subject.

Admission

So first you give your 12th board exams. Then I had to give the JEE MAINS exam. Based on these two scores your ACPC merit rank is calculated. The breakage of both board exams and JEE MAINS exam affecting the ACPC rank are 60% and 40% respectively. Then after that you have to register yourself to participate in the admission process and do the choice filling. After mock rounds get over, the first round begins and you get any one or none of the colleges you filled based on your choices. Similarly 2 more rounds are conducted.

Faculty

3

Not all the facilities of the college are upto the mark. So some of the facilities are superb, very knowledgeable and good teaching skills too but many faculties have very poor knowledge, poor communication skills, poor problem solving skills, poor teaching skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
