College review

To review in total its a great pleasure to study in Sapthagiri College Of Engineering except for the placements but the faculties are great and hence that's the most important thing in a college. Students who want to study well and enjoy less should join this college.

It was a great experience! The faculties in the college were great especially the EEE branch faculties which were my branch. They are very friendly and take care of us like kids which gives us a comfortable atmosphere to study and practicals were great because of them. The project was really great because of our faculty.

No, they don't provide any internships. If you want to attend any internship, then they would help you out by signing the internship form. But they never used to provide the internship on their own and hence its the drawback of our college.

Placements are not up to mark because most of the companies coming there are software and other branches students used to not get much of the companies coming up there. And the placement officer always used to have issues with students and hence nobody was that brave to go to her and ask her about the companies for other branches.

Fest was a great part of our college because that was the only time we used to have fun and enjoy ourselves with friends by participating in the events. I participated in the college fest group dance in the 8th sem and won 1 st prize.

It is feasible. It is not that expensive when compared to other college fee structures. Since I had a merit seat I used to pay less amount but people who used to join college through comedk used to pay more, around 1 lakh approximately every year, and used to not pay until next year.

Since I have not availed of any scholarship I don't know the procedure for applying for a scholarship but I do know that our college used to provide scholarships for certain students who applied for it since my friend used to get her scholarship money.

I used to never go for sports and all but I do know that they provide a very good platform for the students who used to be interested in sports. Our lab was too good with heavy machines, motors, and all the equipment required for performing the experiment and helped us out during the practicals.

5, since one of my friends, was staying in a girls' hostel, I had been to the hostel which is located inside the college campus and the boys' hostel was outside the college campus, the hostel was very clean and tidy with good infrastructure.

The Alumni are really good. When we approach them for job opportunities they help us by supporting us and telling us which is the right direction for a good career which helps us a lot to choose the right path.

The exam for us was unit-wise. We used to have 8 semesters and per year 2 semesters. Here every semister we used to have 3 internals and one VTU exam and we should score a minimum average of 15 out of 25 in the internals. They used to consider only 2 internals for the average and best marks 2 of 3 internals were considered. They used to add this to the main exam and hence a minimum of 50 marks for passing out of 125 marks for every subject.

I got the CET rank and opted for this college in 2 nd round. Later went to the college and paid the Demand draft to the college and CET fees together and got the admission done and gave them all the required documents and passport and got the receipt of fee payment.

The faculties were great in our college. Especially faculties of our branch, EEE branch were awesome with great knowledge but they were down to earth. They are the most friendly lecturers as well as strict when it comes to studying issues. Really blessed to find faculties of this kind.
