Remarks

It is really a good college and I have made so much memories in my 1st year. The main downside is the hostel facilities but there are PG's which will solve this very problem of the students. The faculties are really good and friendly as well the seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Well, its great course and in it I'm already learning two foreign language 1. French 2.Spanish and this couse also covers up all the technical department needed to work in this industry. The main thing of this course is that in the time of Industrial Exposure training, the student can visit renowned foreign countries and can stay there for 1 year.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internship and I will be going out for it in next few months. Well, my course let's student to do internship for 1 year in abroad country and the stipend is really based on hotel and the country where it is situated.

Placement Experience

4.5

College provides really good placements to students in most renowned hotel chain like Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Marriott etc. But the whole thing is upto in the students shoulder, how they give interview and all. College will give many chances to the students.

College Events

4.5

The events which are celebrated in the college :- 1. Fest - It's quite common in all the colleges and my college fest is not so different than the other ones. 2. Chef competition - Here the culinary students take part and show their cooking skills. Celebrity chefs like Sanjeev Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor comes in the college to judge. 3. Mixology competition - Here the students who likes to make drinks and want to join bar profession in future show their skill.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its feasible not too much expensive like IIHM and students can afford it. The fees structure really based on the course type. If the course is like diploma then it's very feasible and it also don't cost too much like other course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students who are having financial problems can take students loan to join college, in the time of internship they will receive stipend and if they can crack abroad and do the internship in countries like USA they can surely pay up the loan money through their stipend money.

Campus Life

3.5

There are main 4 labs in hotel management education which are based on the 4 core department of a hotel. The department are Front office, Housekeeping, Food and beverage, Food production. In this labs we are teached how to cook food, handle guest, how to serve guest, maintainance etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are okay but I would suggest to live in PG which are so many around college because its quite cheap compared to hostel and provide good living facilities compared to hostels. The hostel food are not to mark for students.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the senior students are quite helpful and they really guide us how to live and helps us in knowing this industry as they have known. They will guide you in every problem you are facing but the problem solving depends upon you.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is semester wise. My course is a 3 year course so there are 6 semesters in which 3rd and 4th counts in the Industrial Exposure Training. Each year 2 semister and each semester have a written and practical exams of all the departmental subjects.

Admission

I walk in in the college and told the faculties there that I want to get admission in this college and then I talked with dean of my college regarding the admission procedure and the course I selected.

Faculty

4

They are really good and quite helpful and sees us in a friendly or father / daughter perspective. We can ask help and they won't deny to help us. The chefs in the college who are also teachers are so much helpful, even they scold that's for the betterment of ourselves.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
