Entrance Preview

I had appeared for Diploma course and had got 76.99 % in final year and had got admission in 3rd cap round and vacancy also.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is prepared by Mumbai university only so its like good. Goes with good pace and we can go with it well. Just don't worry stay clam its engg.electives subject provided are only in final sems and if university provides 5 college provides 2 options.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship but the case is bit upside down then normal internships as you need to pay for getting internship and certificates.

Placement Experience

Packages are around 2.80-3.90 Lacs. Placement wise it gives almost 80% of the people with placement which excludes dropouts and higher studies students. Compaines like tcs, capG, L&T, colgate, seclore, cloudfront, come to this college there are many others too.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 1:1 in IT but depends on your stream also. Workshops arranged are like at least 3 in month and are worth enough. They all are certificated. Few are paid and few are free depends on the person or institution conducting .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
