Remarks

There are always pros and cons toeards anything, the pros are that as a B school the college has proved to be quite more than just an educational institution as it has transformed and shaped my life as well as many student's lives. It has been accredited by NAAC too and recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. The cons are that for me, the courses are very theoretical and less practical, interaction is less between students and teachers, assembly at 9 am in the morning. But well these could just be from my own perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course was indeed very informative, interesting as well as a bit tough. The exam structure during our batch was s trimester system, we had three exams in a year, but now the system had been changed to a semester system

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, the is 100% placement opportunities for all the students and 99% students from our batch got placed in top organizations like Fipkart, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, OYO rooms with good positions as a fresher. We had a two months Summer Internship Programme as well as a one month Management in Practice which we got 100% support from our faculties

College Events

3.5

We had Prajjwal an initiative taken by the college to help the kids around the neighbourhood and society regarding their studies for free. We also had Journei which was an inter college event where we had the opportunity to showcase our talents and abilities to perform as future managers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say The fee structure is feasible with all the facilities apart from the educational curriculum That was available for us, everything is listed in detail format and very easy to understand about the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship from what i know and have applied for through the college. Although being a student of a professional course, i would say the scholarship that we got was quite less i would say if we take into consideration our fees.

Campus Life

5

Our faculties and students are always pushing us towards expressing ourselves by participating in many kinds of events that were held at our college especially during the event called the Journei. We have a 9 to 5 library that we can use, there is also a gym.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel amenities and facilities are uo to standard, with good environment, quiet and very peaceful, very clean although there were days during summer seasons where we would face water problems but the hostel authorities are always trying to help the students feel at home.

Alumni/Alumna

My batchmates as well as our seniors who passed out from Don Bosco Institute of Management have always been supportive , kind as well as helpful esp our batch. They would always be there for me. And being far away from home. They made my stay as well as my studies an enjoyable one. They were more than just friends. Family is a word that descibe them best.

Admission

The selection process into the MBA programme at Don Bosco Institute of Management First began with a personal interview which was then followed by a group discussion, then candidates were scrutinized and filtered thoroughly.

Faculty

5

The faculties were very helpful, we can approach them at any time wirh out doubts, queries and difficulties and there was never a time that they would turn diwn the students, they would aleays help the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.
