Remarks

Positive - good faculty and teachers as I told above plus one of the best infrastructure Negative- less placement opportunities and less internship opportunities. But I hope that it will start to improve soon.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have enrolled in btech programme and the college faculty is good but the opportunity for jobs are less. The exam structure constititue of 2 semester in a year Each semester consist of Sessional 30 marks Internal pratical 100 marks External pratical 100 marks And External exam 70 marks

Placement Experience

The placement and intership are less as I came to heard. Only 50-60% placement can be seen. Intership are provided but they are really less on stipend or not all. But we were teach how to get placement off campus and many student get good package with off campus placement

College Events

There are various society in the college that organize various fest and events. Diwali fest, IEEE recruiment, anoogonj, technofest are some of main fest of our college. There are many more small events that are been organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is somehow feasible but a little bit of expensive for middle class family to afford when compared to placement. The fees is around 115k per year for every branch. Hence for 4 year program it will be 460k. The amount of money will be comparable to other engineering college but a little bit of expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is provided by the college but you can avail government scholarship and loan facility to the college. College will corporate with you for this and you can easily avail this offer if your documents are complete and verified

Campus Life

There are various sports that are been played in our college such as volleyball, football, kabaddi, cricket, badminton etc. Our college specially provide sports facility for girls. Also there are various labs in our college for each and every subject for which lab is required.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not opted for hostel and there is no such hostel provided by our college. However the student can search for P.G. in the nearby locality , but I haven't met anyone since the connectivity of the college is really good and is near to 3 metro station.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors in our college are really helpful and interactive. They guide you what they have experienced and what should be done by us. They also tell us about different opportunity and events that we must attend in order to achieve goals is our life.

Admission

Firstly a joint entrance examination (JEE) mains was held and after the declaration of result merit will be declared and student are admitted accordingly. Also a minimum of 55% are neccessary in 12th result (PCM)

Faculty

The college faculty is good and provide student with good service and skill and are really polite in nature. There is strictness regarding rules and regulation. Also there is a strict rule regarding the ragging as our college take affidavit from student of anti-ragging.

The students become eligible to sit in the placement in their 4th year . I can say there are so many of companies that generally visit to recruit the students. In Jamia Millia Islamia mechanical department out of 70, 52 student got placed. My plan is to sit in placement if I got what I want I will accept otherwise I will look for offline campus placement

placement records are a bit low maximum package is 48lpa but the average package is 5.5 or 6 lpa which is not great considering h3 highest package only some student get packages above 20lpa . several company visited the campus such as infosys over 1000 offers were made however it is all about skills u develop over this span of time . u can sit in palcement after 3rd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

During the 7th semester the placement season starts there is a starting of and shortlisting of students based on cg and they are shortlisted for the placement test for the various companies and those who qualify it they can sit in the interview and 4 day placement offering continues and this year this append in the beginning of December. Talking about the placement of year 2025 the data is still not available and I think it will be in the market soon but the students have grabbed a huge placement and there is a an incremental placement from the last 34 years which was due to recession many students have grabbed international packages and a huge national packages as well huge strength support placed. Talking about the placement of 2024 the sum of the top recruiters where Air India Microsoft texas instruments Goldman Sachs. Bajaj Auto. Etcetera,. Hyatt Delhi highest international package was true. crore per annum Indian rupee. and high estimate domestic package was 1,00,00,000 per annum in length rupee. around 50 students got a salary package of more than 1,00,00,000 per annum. and the top recruiting sectors Students got in where software finance code engineering technology and Analytics about 400 companies participated in iit Dilli placements. Talking about the 2025. placement is still not concluded. In 2024 amount 370 companies. have participated in the placement. and about 2 000 students registered for the placement. and half of them got placed. including the phase one and phase two. A total offer of 1050 was made. There were 50 plus international offers. and job profile offered was around 700. highest CTC. watched two lack per annum Indian rupee. In 2025 around. 70% student got placed. I am thinking. to go for UPSC. after my degree. Although I haven't made my mind completely about it. but may be I may opt for civil services. Otherwise I will go for core engineering in my mechanical. and I will. do something new over there. Let us see and hope for the best

Placement Experience:

People are eligible for placements in internships after 2nd year. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Air India, and some quant companies like Jane street too come here to offer internships. Around 80 to 85 percent get placed every year, minimum package being around 7 to 8 lakhs usually Last year 87 placements of 1 Cr and above were made (both external and internal combined)

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
