coming to the positives vit has a very good infrastructure, placements, fully flexible credit system and a lot of guidance to write research papers, sports facilities, hostel facilities, etc while coming to the negatives the fees are a bit high compared to other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
we have a fully flexible credit system and we can choose the courses we are interested in and we have the opportunity to choose the faculty as well, exam consists of basic questions on maths, physics, chemistry, and English.
Placement Experience
placements are too good compared to other colleges we have more than 400 companies visiting every year, a few companies provide internship while a few companies provide direct placement. over the average package, this year is 5.5lpa and the highest package is 42lpa by Microsoft.
College Events
vit is having many clubs and chapters and events are conducted frequently, the main events are the technical fest which is held in the month of October for a period of three days and here comes the cultural fest that is conducted in the month of February for a period of 4 days(biggest fest in India)
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee structure depends on the viteee rank and varies accordingly for different categories from 1 to 5, the fee for category 1 students is 2lpa +1.3 (hostel and mess), according to me it's a bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
we are provided with a scholarship of inr50000 for the students who secured a good rank in the viteee entrance examination and there are few scholarships in the name of a trust whose parents' annual income is less than 1lpa.
Campus Life
we will be hosting sports tournaments for the cultural and technical fest of which prize money is also good, we have hundreds of labs for various branch students and the infrastructure is also so good.
Alumni/Alumna
as we have a fully flexible credit system our senior's guidance is very crucial in choosing the faculty and choosing the courses, there are so many students who got into the navy, airforce, and a few into the cinematic field as well.
Admission
Firstly we have to go through an entrance exam called as viteee then according to the rank in the entrance exam we will be called for the selection process and according to the availability of seats, we can choose the branch we are interested in.
Faculty
vit has the best faculty who have completed PhDs and very experienced faculty who can guide us to write research papers and for a year more than 1000 research papers are published under the guidance of the faculty.
