Remarks

The institute ensures that the students, when go out of the college after graduation, reach to the highest peak of success. The region of Amravati is not an industrial region like Pune or Mumbai, hence the exposure to the industry is not enough for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course Curriculum is very good. It tries to cover all the necessary subjects for creating an understanding about the field. It helps a lot, when we actually work on field. There are 8 semesters in 4 years of graduation. Each semester has 2 Class tests (+1 Class test for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year) and an END Semester exam. The 40% passing criteria is applied. There are internal assessments as well as external assessments practical exams to test our practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are very good. The software based companies recruit more in our institution. Companies like TCS Ninja, TCS Digital, Cognizant, Persistent, Wipro, Pratiti, NCDEX- NEML, Elastic drive, LnT, Reliance retail, etc. are the major recruiting companies. The institute focuses on the need of undergoing internships and trainings. I haven't done any internships but I have taken training in Rattan India power plant near Amravati.

College Events

4

A lot of extra curricular activities are conducted in the institute. The technical festival - PRAJWALAN, cultural festival - ZENITH, Alumni Meet are the events that take place every year. Besides this many events are organized by the students council and many other forums in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. The fees is incremental in nature. It increases every year by a few percentages. The scholarships and freeships are provided by the government to all the students belonging to the weaker section and financially weak students every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a Government College, all the scholarships and freeships provided by the Government of Maharashtra are made available for the students. Besides these scholarships, many scholarships are provided by different institutions like Lila Poonawala Foundation, Siemens Scholarship, Calsoft Foundation, ONGC scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

4.5

The labs are well equipped. All the necessary instruments and equipment are made available if any defective ones are to be replaced. Every year the sports meet is also held under the Gymkhana. It is known as the Kalpana Chawla trophy, where the departments participate in different games and earn points to make their department win. Besides these, the institute has a good participation and encourages the students to take part in the university matches.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am a localite. So, I don't live in the hostel. But as I visit the hostel frequently, the facilities are good. The newspapers are provided regularly. The water supply is 24×7. The washrooms are also clean and well equipped. There are 2 hostels for girls and 2 hostels for boys. 1 hostel is under construction for boys.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year the Alumni meet is organized by the Alumni Association of the Institute. So, there is a good maintenance of the alumni and students relationships. They also provide scholarships to the toppers and the students in need. They Share their experiences with the students and it is very helpful.

Admission

I got admitted to the Institute by the Allotment procedure conducted by DTE. After the arrival of the results, we have to register for the admission process. Then our rank in the merit list is provided by the DTE. Later on the desired options for the college are to be filled in the preference form. Then according to our preference and our rank, the college is allotted. It is a long procedure. It lasts for at least a month.

Faculty

4

The faculty of our department is very experienced and they help us whenever we require their help. They are very good at teaching the concepts. They emphasize on the practical knowledge a lot. Every faculty has a good knowledge of the subject that they are teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
