Its a good course, cs branch is the best.exam structure is 60% internal which include two internal exam of 15% each and 3 quiz or digital assignment of 10% each and 40 % final assesment test(pass mark is 40/100)

Placement is damn good.CS HAs 99% of getting placed. For mech its comparetivly low. Even then top companies do visit. Top placement is by microsoft. They even take for internships with reasonable stipends

Gravitas is the tech fest for our college. Students from various colleges across india come and compete in various technical competition. Rivera is the cultural fest where cultural competition in all india level occurs. Apart from these vit has hundreds of clubs and chapters which work effectively and conducts events frequently

Even though fees structure looks expensive, once you get into the college you will know that all those are worthy. They provide all the necessary facilities for learning and making your life in vit smoother.

If you are state topers for +2 you will avail 100% discount in the tuition fees. That means completely free education. Various banks in vellore offers student loan for the entire four years if u have good marks in +2 (my friend avail 20 lakhs with 95 % in cbse +2)

Vit is a very good place to socialise, vit has numerous clubs and chapters tht works in full swing. They covers all most all field like dance,music,sports,charity,technical clubs.lab facilities are really awsome, they are well equiped. F1 car racing team is lit.

Hostel facility is really awsome.more you pay ,beter hostel and service you get.even though mess is not upto level(way better than most of the college messes in india) ,we do have food parks (optional, instead of mess you can go for it), where you get all the varities of food. You will have a fixed amount in your account for a month and you can eat until its drain and if needed you can pay and eat after that.

Vit has a very strong alumni network. Vities alumni network includes various countries. People placed in many dream multination companies and keeps a great touch with vit. They have alumni meat frequently in various parts of world

By viteee exam conducted by vit every year.top rank holders will be called for seat counselling and seats allocated according to demand.greater the rank, least the category and least the fee.as per filling of seat category will be allottee in order of rank

Faculties are mostly from vellore local, some find difficult to communicate effectively but most of them are iit graduates and can communicate well. Knowledge of the subject is awsome. Will help for any research need.
