Remarks

The positive is that the college provides you enough and more resources apart from the curriculum to boost out career, the student associations are active in the college.faculties in most of the departments are service minded. The college has a great ambience and infrastructure, one of the main negative traits are some faculties has a revengeful attitude and mean personality that not the majority but there is people like that

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Basically all around kerala the engineering syllabus is same, so it wont vary between colleges the exam structure was not in a scientific manner in my college days because i was in the first batch of the new university, now things have been changed the university has done their research and better than it was before. The thing we should consider is apart all the colleges are having same syllabus saintgits is giving extra classes and job oriented skill training and they provide lot of other resources

Placement Experience

5

Last year saintgits was very focused on placements half of the students in my class were placed, the college is provide free bus facilities for off campus placement drives.None of the colleges in kerala provide internship it is our responsibility to find internships as it is mandatory for the university.

College Events

2.5

Every major events are celebrated in the college, as keralites don't celebrate holly yet the college permits the celebration, other celebrations include onam,Christmas, kerala piravi are also celebrated ,apart from the celebrations the college has cultural and technical fest every year

Fee Structure And Facilities

For a guy who have good academic results have different scholarships provided by the college and the government quota fee is same throughout kerala and the government is also giving scholarships for who have 80% mark in higher secondary of ?25000, the government quota fee will be around ?95000 and management quota will be around 130000?. And NRI quota will be ?200000

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not offer any loan, yet we can approach banks for loans educational loans are available for students of decent academic records. And for students who have excelled in both entrance examinations and higher secondary examinations securing higher ranks in entrance examinations have huge deductions in college fees.Government scholarships are also there for students who are securing 80% or above in higher secondary level but keep in mind that u can apply that only once you get admission

Campus Life

4.5

The lab facilities area incredible and we have a cricket ground, football ground and badminton courts ,basketball court and a volleyball courts annual competitions of each of there sports are arranged in the college ,intercollege meets are also arranged

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I was a day scholar but i had friends who stayed in hostel, they had lot of issues with the hostel the infrastructure is great but food is an issue as my friends had suffered from food poisoning multiple times

Alumni/Alumna

The staffs still keep contact with the alumni, and in certain occasions the alumni visits the college and give us an introduction to what things we are going to face once we get out of the college and face the job market,my seniors were really helpful i got most of my text books from them, apart from other colleges ragging is not a issue there.

Admission

I got admission in the government quota. For this you must qualify in KEAM an entrance examination for admission for engineering in kerala. After passing the examination you file for allotment in government quota, if you can make it in the first 10000 ranks there is special allowance in fee structure and in order to secure your seat it is better to score better marks in the entrance exam and be in the top 20000 ranks.once you file for allotment you will be having provision to choose 3 colleges in the order of your priority ,within 3 allotments you will be called from the college or you can contact them if you are allotted to the college and they will take care of the admission procedure

Faculty

4

The faculties are 100% sincere to their work, some feel like they are rude but it is part of their job. When you need them they will be there for you.My staff advisors and Hod was really supportive and they still keep in contact after my graduation

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
