Remarks
Positive-too good to learn and in hand experience Negative-some faculties are not too good to teach and some systems are not good in the college like only one placement i.e. if you attend one placementor one company interview and get the job you can not attend the other one.
Course Curriculum Overview
When we were in B.Pharm there was a different syllabus from now.I personally think present syllabus of B.Pharm and M.Pharm and the all new course curriculum are the best for students to learn the pharmaceuticals describely. The exam structure is on the basis of semester that is held in an interval of 6 months.and within a semester there are internal exams and class test also.
Placement Experience
When we took admission in our college the companies were started to come.Now the placements are all over good.even though there is placement cell.They are trying to place all the students every year. Ofcourse college arranges internship for each and every student.But there is not any stipend in the internship.Even i went for internship in both my B.Pharm and M.Pharm career and got placed in a well recognised pharmaceutical industry.
College Events
In the pharmacy department national pharmacy week, seminars, NATCONPH etc are celebrated and some fests like YCOMM, LOGIN etc are celebrated all over the college.Fests are celebrated among the students from all departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Not too expensive. When I was in B.Pharm the total fees were 3.30 lack and in M.Pharm it was 2.90 lack.but now the fees have been increased too.But not too expensive.It is feasible and include all the charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many schoalship available.as for example for the meritorious students there is scholarship,for students belonging to the backward class there is scholarship too. Loan facility available in our college.some banks are in partnership with the college.
Campus Life
Labs are too good to learn and to work in hand.In hand experience was awsome.there is everyday lab facilities available. Sports like cricket, football,chess,table tennis etc are played within the college campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network or the senior students are helpfull.there are exceptions too.relationships among junior senior are all over good to be helped to search for job.They are all over helpful.they help to search for job.they help to take reference for job.
Admission
After passing 12th (Sci), I have given WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination), i.e. entrance for B.Pharm and have entered in B.Pharm in 2013.After 4 years study of B.Pharm took admission in M.Pharm in 2017 through an admission test named PGET and a technical interview.
Faculty
Mostly all the faculty were too good to teach the subjects.There are exceptions too.Some faculty taught describely and some were too short.All over experience was good to learn.Some faculty were subject based.Some were not.
