A view about my college

It gives wonderful freedom to develop our skills Gives importance to its students Has a good management Negative remarks Has to give more funding towards the racing teams Can develop a bit more sports culture in students Provide college bus for transportation

It is based on the syllabus provided by ktu it is fairly tough considering the previous syllabus under CUSAT there are 6 subjects in every semester each subject has 6 modules the exam structure is as follows two 20 mark series exam conducted by college based on 1st and 2nd module One 100 mark sem exam conducted by ktu plus internals like assignment for 10 marks and each sem has 2 labs

Yess the college has a good placement cell every year companies such as infoysis Wipro isro and other companies come here yess the college does provide internship from 3rd year I have not taken the internship so I cannot comment on the topic

Every year the college feast aaroh is celebrated then we have the sports day We even celebrate arts day we conduct various workshops throughout the year which has activity points holi onam Christmas all are celebrated in a grand manner

The fee structure is very reasonable for merit seat it is 35000 and for management it is 65000 per year for management students there is a two time installment where u can pay 35000 and then 30000 for Financially backward and OBC there are special prevalages where u can study for free provided producing the income certificate

There are various scholarships offered that are based on merit ,income and caste as I havent taken one I cannot explain correctly but there is a national scholarship based on ur income where u can study for free all scholarship are taken into consideration by producing the correct documents

There are various groups that the college is know for We have three racing groups DRUTHA ASTRA and AAGNEYA all in different styles of racing We have an IEDC Group we have a NSS unit We have a popular music band We have cricket football volleyball badminton and basketball teams that compete with other colleges We have an active dance group A placement cell We have good equipment in lab for mechanical engineering which is said to be the 3rd best in kerala

We have a strong alumni network which helps with funding of the three racing groups most of our alumnus that I have come in contact are engineers from ISRO are are mostly working in gulf countries all are friendly and supportive and we had a good response from our alumni when we hosted the silver jubilee of our college

Write KEAM,the kerala entrance exam for higher education get a rank roughly close to 8000 for a merit seat for mechanical engineering all other process can be downloaded from the offical website @ktu

All are highly educated in their respective fields some are friendly and all are willing to clear your doubts very strict on attendance at the same time can enjoy college life with full freedom more than permanent staffs temporary staffs are more in number
