College have a negative thing. That is expense during different programs. Because college conduct all programs colourful manner by demanding an amount from the students for successful conduct of program.
Course Curriculum Overview
College is running under APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU). College is following Curriculum and syllabus initiated by the university. College conduct two internal examination and University conduct semester examination.
Placement Experience
College does not have sufficient placement opportunities except for computer science engineering department. College is not providing any internship but conduct lots of workshop in the college under association of different departments in the college.
College Events
College celebrate annual arts day,sports day, international teacher's day, Christmas,Onam celebration. Other festivals like vishu,Diwali,new year,Eid-ul-fitr,Bakrid,ifthar,etc are also celebrated at the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is based on different departments and different mode of admission. Mechanical,Civil, Computer science department have more fee than other departments. According to mode of admission fee increases in an order from Merit- Management-NRI seats.
Fees and Financial Aid
Of course, college provide different fee deduction policies. College have it's own scholarship test and if you are able to succeed the par score, college will provide fee deduction based on your academic performance and annual income of parents.
Campus Life
MEA Engineering college is famous for it's colourful annual Arts and Sports day. Also famous for different games at zonal level. College have secured good positions in state level Athletics as well as in zonal level games.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel have good welfare facilities and 24*7 WiFi connectivity. Hostel is clean and tidy. Daily housekeeping facilities is there. Hostel mess have good food for fair price. Malabar recipes are available on fair monthly installment.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes,we have an alumni association. We do many charity works through this organisation. Annually we conduct community marriage for at least 5 poor couples. We are so happy in coordinating it well and continuing this for four years.
Admission
I have written Kerala Engineering And Medical (KEAM-2015) entrance examination and got a rank of 28508. I had given options for single window allotment process. I had got alloted in this college and I joined here.
Faculty
MEA Engineering college is the good college in all sense. Good campus atmosphere Good and experienced faculty members College has a charity wing named NANMA,it does lots of charity work through the year.
