Msc Mathematics and Computing at NIT WARANGAL

Overall Rating i would like to give to my college is 9/10. It's good place to study and enjoy life. Your life will be changed completely once you are enrolled here. All you need to do is hardwork to reach here and study. You will really enjoy the life here.

Course curriculum in M.Sc. Mathematics and Scientific Computing is very very good. A combination of Computer Science subject and Mathematics subjects give you a good job offer. You start learning basic concepts of C++ followed by OOPs , Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, DBMS, Operating System, Java, and many more mathematics subjects.

Placement at NIT Warangal are very very Good. Around 150 companies visit every placement season including Microsoft, Schlumberger, DE Shaw etc. Yes, our college provide internship opportunities to each and every student for 2 months and for Mtech students 1 year. I am MSc student, so i was not interested in Internship.

Nit Warangal has the history of organizing various events. Technozion the largest Technical Fest of the Telangana State is organised every year in month of Oct/Nov. Cultural fest Springspree is also organised every year in month of Feb/March. Apart from this many many events and Activities are going on in college everyday.

As the NIT Warangal is centrally funded college, The fee structure is decided by Government of India and we have to follow the same. In Comparison to other colleges, at NIT Warangal fee structure is much feasible.

Our college offers many scholarship to the students. Also loan facility is available in the campus. Depending on the students performance, scholarship is provided. SBI Bank branch is available inside the campus and they provide loan to students.

When it comes to the extra curricular activities and sports no one can beat Nit Warangal. We have Student Activity Centre where various different clubs are there. You can enroll in clubs of your choice and live a great life.

Hostel at NIT Warangal are very very good with all basic amenities. 1.8k Ultra Mega Hostel is the Asia's Second Largest Hostel located at NIT WARANGAL. Hostels have gym , laundry , Amul Shops, Nescafe Parlour. All rooms have good internet connectivity. For entertainment Table Tennis ,Tv rooms etc are there.

Our college helps students by connecting them to their alumni. Every year 25th year past batch has a function for alumni. All students can meet them. Recently we had Diamond Jubilee celebrations, in which alumni of 60 years were there. Seniors are very helpful in college.

To get admission in NIT Warangal in MSc Mathematics and Scientific Computing course you have to write IIT JAM exam. On the basis of rank you can get admission here, if your all india rank is upto 600 in general category.

Faculties at NIT Warangal are dedicated towards study. They are highly motivating. They know how to decrease the pressure of studies among students and balance the life. They are bit strict towards study.
