Remarks

The number of trees on the campus was less when I studied so the overall temperature was a bit high. We did bring this issue to the concern of the management and they took remedial actions. Now it is a green campus filled with lots of small trees. Another negative that I would like to point out is the over-involvement of the management in academics and department affairs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have done a B.Tech course on electrical and electronics.it is a 4-year course the syllabus is well played and the curriculum includes sports and other extracurricular activities other than studies. semester Exams are conducted at the end of each semester before that two internal exams are also conducted

Placement Experience

2.5

About 70%of our Bach got placed in one place or another. Almost all the placements were from companies like TCS, Infosys, Egipto, etc.No the College doesn't provide any internship at the moment but it conducts PLC, SCADA, HMI, etc workshops for the students

College Events

3.5

The College will conduct a tech-fest, an art day, and various other events like hackathon workshops, sports days, etc. Onam is celebrated every year in a grand manner where students wear a colorful dress and there will be onasadya

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are mainly 2 types of seats in this College. Management seat and state merit seat, the students in the management seats would spend around 4 lakh for 4 years and state merit seat will cost around 2.5 lakhs. This is the case when the student is not having any scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College does provide a scholarship program for meritorious students. It's a fee reduction based on your 12th /engineering entrance exam. Further, a student who scores a show of 8 or more in any of the semesters will be also eligible for this scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The College does have every lab that we would require for academics based on the syllabus, in addition to that there are project labs, innovation centers, etc. The College has recognized teams for basketball football and athletics.

Hostel Facilities

5

No, I didn't use the College hostel facility, but it does have separate boys and girls hostel. Further, the College is having huge infrastructure facilities which include multiple canteens seminar halls auditoriums, basketball courts, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

students are a member of this association. The alumni association would conduct together and other programs for the welfare of the College The seniors are very friendly and are good guides. There were no issues regarding ragging etc.

Admission

I had good marks in 12 so I applied for the management seat. Based on the applications received they shortlisted the candidates and called for counseling sections. These sections were conducted during June and the bridge course for the admitted students started 2 months before the actual commending of the class

Faculty

4

The faculty in my College is well qualified and experienced. They are always willing to help and always encourage us to come up with new ideas. They have also played a good role in developing the morals of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
