All about VIIT (Kondhwa,Pune )

The surrounding area of the college is not hygienic or good. There's no MacDonald ,Dominnoz or any junk food stuff near the college. There's a lot of parking space in the college. There are 3-4 canteen.

VIIT has a semester pattern.And there are semester exams. (Theory + practical ). Every semester has 5-6 subjects. And based on the subject it has theory or practical for which it has credits. First Year is easy. From Second year we have value added courses and Elective subjects which are compulsory and have exams also. Apart from this there are two unit tests (theory ) of 30 marks and a semester exam if 50 marks. And remaining marks are given to term work and practical exams , attendance ,CE evaluation. Total of 150 marks for each subject.

It's mandatory to do internship in the third year. College provides internship as well as placements in the last year. There are dream companies and also mass recruiters. Placement wise VIIT is best.

Gandharv (Cultural Fest)- It is the most renowned and most awaited fest of VIIT. There's dance ,music,games and all the fun. Perception (Technical Fest)- it's a interdepartmental and intercollegiate Fest related to Technical aspects. There are more than 20 clubs under which various events happen every week.

Depending on the caste fees structure vary. Open caste has around 1.3 lakhs + And rather all castes have comparative less to that.will need to fill the form and when all the process of the scholarship is done fees are credited to the bank.

Government of India Post matric scholarship. Punjabrao Deshmukh. Ebc scholarship. There are various scholarships depending on the castes.Every year students have to fill the form for this scholarship.

There's a sports department under which all the intercollegiate sports happen. VIIT has a tremendous increase in the sports field from the last 2 years. Students have achieved various prizes in Coep and MIT summits.

Senior students are free to speak and solve any problem of juniors. Theres a club of Alumni through which sessions are also arranged by the settled Alumni people. Mock interviews are arranged by the students for the students. And these interviews are taken by alumni.

I am a direct second year student and i got this college in the 2nd cap round. First i had to do documents verification and paid fees in the college students section ( A building ) and then the ERP registration in the respective department. That's it the very first procedure to follow.

Faculties are good and have a excellent domain knowledge. Some of the faculties are pursuing PHD so their level of content delivery and explaination is awesome. Any doubts regarding anything are cleared even on the social media or calls. Tecahers are very flexible.
