Over all analysis of VIT university

You can't drink and smoke inside the university campus. If you are drunk then debride you from the college. So it's a great remark about the university. Here a proctor also appointed to every 20 students if you have any doubts you can ask him or her and you cannot go on leave without your proctor's permission so it also a good remark. The only negative remarks of this university are that there is no good coaching for GATE OR CAT in the town. So you have to prepare on your own.

The course curriculum is awesome. Each course curriculum divided into four parts- university core, program core, program elective, university elective. some courses are compulsory in every branch like physics, chemistry, maths but at VIT UNIVERSITY you have to learn a foreign language so If you want to go abroad that will be helpful. some program compulsory courses are there. but here lots of program elective courses are there so you can do specialization in your interested field. this is the beauty of this university.

Every year University creates a record in placements. every year more than 4500 students get placed in well-known Mnc's. University has registered in "LIMCA BOOK OF RECORD" for providing most job offers to students. College also provides internships to students all details come through emails.

VIT UNIVERSITY has so many student clubs and chapters like IEEE STUDENT SOCIETY, CODECHEF, E-CELL. So these clubs organize events regularly. Two mega events organized by UNIVERSITY itself are GRAVITAS and RIVERA.

Fees are a little bit expensive but almost the same as other colleges. Here courses are divided into two sections. Section A and B. Some course like CSE, IT, ECE come in group A and mechanical engineering, EEE, Civil comes in group B. Group A has tuition fees of almost 2 lakhs per year and group B has 1.75 lakhs per year. the category system is also here. If you want to better branch but your rank is not good for that you have to pay extra. In every category, you have to pay 1 lakh extra.

Universities provide scholarships to needy and deserve students. If someone gets rank in the top 10 his or her complete fees is free. If somebody gets a rank in the top hundred in the entrance exam he or she gets a 25% discount also. Here an INDIAN BANK which provides loans to students at a very low cost of interest and approved it immediately also.

Here are grounds for cricket, hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis are available so if someone wants they can play here. All are well maintained. Here an extracurricular course is also. in this course, we have to join some sports. Laboratories are well maintained here all types of laboratories are here almost every has laboratory component also. Separately exames also taken for labs so here labs are more important than theory classes

Hostel - Here are two types of rooms ac and non-ac. And 2,3,3,6 bedded rooms are available for first-year students and single bed is also available for seniors. Room charges range from 65000 to 30000. 24 hours of electricity is provided and security. The hostel door closes at 9 pm every night and opens in the morning at 6am. every night after 9 pm biometric attendance is taken by the warden if somebody is absent without permission immediately Warden calls his parents.

University has a great alumni network. every year in different parts of the world university organizes events like a get-together. last month an event is organized in UAE and New Jersey. chancellor participates in events also.

For admission to VIT University, every year an entrance exam "VITEEE" conducted by the university. On the basis of your marks, a rank list will be created. This exam conducts only in online mode and this will conduct in the month of may after JEE MAINS.

Faculties have great experience of teaching and all are Ph.D.'s so they have great knowledge also. In the last two years, Ex- IIT's faculties also join VIT.UNIVERSITY has tie-up with so many foreign colleges so faculties come from there also for special lectures.
