Remarks

Positive:- The college infrastructure is good. The opportunities provided by college are good. The placements and intern offers are good. Negative:- The college is overcrowded. The college is not worth for money (in case of foreign students)

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum of VIT University is good but it could be better. The major issue in the course Curriculum is you have to learn too many subjects in your 4 yrs at VIT and you can't go deep into any subjects. So, basically the curriculum makes your life at VIT a hectic one.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are really handsome. If you do good in your studies and in your job interview, you get to receive a handsome offer from companies. College provides internship also. I am now in 2nd year. So i have not had any placements or internships. But i am reviewing this on seeing seniors life.

College Events

2.5

There are two major events in my college. 1)Gravitas:- Basically, this is a technical event. There are many technical events going on in college in this fest. This fest is for 3 days. 2)Riviera:- This event goes on for 4 days. And this is more over a fest where you can enjoy a lot( Concerts,DJ's,etc. available)

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for Indians depends upon your rank in VITEE entrance exam. For Indians,if you get high rank, your fee is feasible and fees goes on increasing if you get low ranks. For low ranks, the fees is expensive. For NRI's and Foreign students, the fee is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

For needy people, they do provide scholarships under different schemes. I not being an indian can't apply for scholarships provided by the university. But , for nepal students there is indian embassy which gives scholarship. For indians, you should fill forms and there are others process too but i don't have much idea on that.

Campus Life

4

There is a ground which is open from morning 6 a.m(approx) to 8p.m at night. So it depends upon you how well you can manage time for sports and extracurricular activities. You have to take part in one extracurricular activities for your 2credits. Labs are good.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yep. Mess food is good. Breakfast is good. Sometimes, dinner might be a depressing. I am from nepal. So,if the mess gives south food then i have problems in eating that food. The masalas they use is not a common one that north Indians and other use. The food has more masalas and is spicy too. Hostels rooms are not good. They are conjusted.

Alumni/Alumna

Aluminis are well connected to VIT. The seniors are helpful. There is no ragging here. So , no need to take tension of ragging. There is FFCS system here for course registration. So,you may end up with seniors in same class. They are really helpful.

Admission

I am from Nepal. So, i got admission in VIT in foreign quota. For foreign students and NRI's , you can easily get into VIT University via foreign and NRI quotas respectively. For getting admission into VIT University under these quotas , you can contact VIT University administration.

Faculty

3

The faculty reviews in my perspective is mixed. Some of the faculties are really really good ,some are OK, and i feel some are not OK too. Basically, there may be problem of understanding faculty speaking if faculty is a south indian.(in some cases only).
