One of the best curriculum in India 1) There will be two internal tests for 50marks 2) And one final test(pass mark 40) Note: If you fail a subject, for rewriting one particular subject the cost is Rs.6000(which is most expensive too)
Placement Experience
Placements are good. I mean not the best Because of the huge strength here everyone cannot be placed with good packages but still, if you want a job you will get in mass recruitments from some companies. Yes, internships are provided by the college but not for every stream.(Cse people have a lot of interns)
College Events
Gravitas(A technical fest) Gravitas is basically about all the clubs and chapters on campus would keep their stalls and have some fun Riviera(A cultural fest) Riviera is three days fest where each day you will have different stars will be performing. Note: Girls and Boys are kept separate during fests with barriers in between
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs.3,00,000 in 1st counseling quite expensive(but it's feasible if compared to other private colleges that provide privileges like VIT). Here 3lakhs includes hostel fees and mess fees too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are Scholarships for people with a low economy which will be credited every month.
Campus Life
There are about 20 extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, Telugu literature, Hindi literature, and else. Labs are good compared to many private colleges in India. You will have almost every equipment available in the market which is useful for curriculum
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is fine. If you have any problem it will be solved by that day or at max. by the other day. When it comes to facilities there will be almost two badminton courts, drinking hot water on respective floors, no problem with lifts(i mean sometimes there will be but negligible) and a night canteen from 10:30 pm to 12:00 am
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni have a separate website where they can get all their previous records of courses and transcripts. Senior students are most helpful in VIT because there will be a lot of doubts for fresher students where every time you cant go and meet faculties. Note: No ragging inside the campus
Admission
1) Apply for the VITEEE entrance exam on the official vit website 2) Attend the exam 3) According to your rank you will get a counseling date. Where you have to choose your stream of pursuing a degree 4) At the time of counseling you need to pay an advance of Rs.20000(refundable)
Faculty
Basically, Good. If you are lucky enough you will get the best faculties. Because in VIT there is a system called FFCS, which is choosing our own faculty and subjects in a particular semester. This process is for every semester for every branch(BTech, MTech, BBA, and else)
