Remarks

Academics is very good but should improve the visual language. The most focused thing i found here is the lab. There is no stadium sadly and the ground is filled with grass. Overall an average college comparing both infrastructure and academics. There is a large library with greayer number of books.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Exams are conducted by KTU, which really make students tense and pressurise. Giving lots of works like assignments, projects etc. KTU is not friendly. Exams are announced just 3 days before starting the exam and inproper valuvation.

Placement Experience

3

College will provide internship but placement was not too expected. Minimum 50+ placements. Yet, still my course has no greater placement around kerala. Hope coming years there will be more and more student be placed.

College Events

4.5

There are lots of event takes place in my college, like tech fest, tech day, IV, onam celebration, x'mas , department wise fests etc. Which helps the students to be free and comfort and help them in academic.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i'm studying in a government college, fees is reliable it is less than 10k a year and also there are lots of scholarships available for students, some of them need not to pay a single fee. Totally it is fine.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are various scholarships available for students. Since it is a government college most of the students need not to pay. Mosy of the students are opt for loan and some of them gets them. I think there are 4 scholarship active right now.

Campus Life

4

Labs, activities are conducted accordingly but 'sports'. Staff doesn't focus on sports because no one cares. They get salary each month. Sports is not concentrated in this college, if we want to participate in sports we have to do it byself.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is good, nice rooms and in a single room 2 person are alloted. And the rooms have great area. Provides a chair, table and bed. But the problem is with the water. Since our area is filled with muddy water. But for drinking purpose purified aqua water is provided for students. Food is a factor and they provide it maximum

Alumni/Alumna

Yeh, mosy of them are in good jobs and even they starts their own dream company. There was alumni get together every year and also they intract with us to. Helping us to achieve good job and life. They are friendly.

Admission

I got admission via entrance exam called KEAM, which selects students upon their rank. I got a higher rank and this college was best for the course i have choosen. So you need to select the course and college when entrance committe asks for.

Faculty

4.5

Teaching faculty and workshop infrastructure is great. 2nd largest civil and mech workshop in kerala. A single lab consist of more then 20 equipments and each students can work individually and about teaching, teachers are from well reputed colleges around India.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
