I gave entrance test for CUSAT CAT examination in which I got 1926 rank. I choose Computer Science and Engineering because i had an interest in software related cources. The CUSAT CAT is nation wide test and it is also hels in some Foreign countries. Eg-Dubai etc.

Cource Curriculam is very good here since the syllabus is revisited and updated every 3 years. As compared to other core branches the software branches have an far more upgraded syllabus. There is a vast syllabus concentrating on covering every aspects of the engineering branch.

Placements here are very good as most of the students get placed in their 7th semesters. Few days back TCS came here for recruitment and recruited 226 students out of 330 registered students maximum by any other companies this year. TCS offered a package of 3.33 lakhs per annum.

Our college conducts many festivals yearly. This year in february we had our 3-day technical festival named XPLENDOR. I was conducting a coding competition in that. It was anticipated by many students from different colleges. Onam is a major festival here. Every year we conduct a major onam festival on the eve of onam. A great dancing and human painted in form of poachers and tigers moves around whole campus. We have our arts festival named VIPANCHIKA every year. It is scheduled to be on 10-12 december this year. The fee structure is economical as compared to other colleges.Its feasible.The fee amount per semester is 35,500 IN. The examination fee is also included in this. So we dont have to pay any extra amount excluding hostel and mess fee.Hostel + Mess= 550*6+2500*6=18300. So the total becomes INR 53,300.

Loans are provided by all the major nationalised banks across India for the student who needs it. College rewards Semester toppers with scholarships of 30,000 INR for every branch and and additional 10.000 INR if he/she is also an university topper.

Campus life is good. There are students from mant parts of our country,so its faciniting to intract and be frends with them. Gender Ratio differs from branch to branch in Mechanical Engineering depatment it is in 1:60 ratio whereas in IT,CS,ECE,EEE,Civil Engineering departments it is almost 50:50. Campus is very much diverse as it is full of green. Workshops are very freuent here which are organized bt various departments with their point of interest to facilitate students. Apart from workshops students take part in various extracurricular activities. Sports are held in the month of sept-oct every year.Debates,dance etc are held in the festivals itself.
