Remarks
Good place to study Space Science and Technology. Environment friendly residential campus surrounded by mountains. The only negative remark is the number of students are little less. So campus life is not active as much as other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is well established with courses consisting all aspects of Space Science and Technology. Each semester will have 5 or 6 Theory courses and 2 or 3 Practical courses. For theory courses, there'll be two quiz (1-hour exam) of 15 marks each at some time in between the semester and an end semester exam (3-hours) of 50 marks at the end of the semester. For the rest 20 marks out of 100, students have to do projects/assignments/seminars or write an exam (depends on the teacher). For practical courses, the evaluation is based on the performance during the experiments in the laboratory and final practical exam.
Placement Experience
For the Under-Graduate and Dual Degree courses, ISRO/DoS will absorb the students to the post of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' at various ISRO/DoS centres across the country if the student has secured a CGPA of 7.5 or above. Also the college allows you to do a compulsory internship during the summer vacation after third year in any of the ISRO/DoS centres or in any other institution or in college itself. The college will provide stipend for the internship period which covers food, accommodation and travel.
College Events
Celebrates most of the festivals like Diwali, Navratri, Christmas, Ganesh Chathurthi, New Year, Eid etc. Since the college is in Kerala, Onam is celebrated in a grand way. Independence Day and Republic Day are also celebrated in a grand way.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If a student in Under-Graduate or Dual Degree course secures a GPA of 7.5 or above in a semester, DoS provides scholarship for him/her for the semester which covers the Tuition fee, Hostel fee, Mess fee etc. If the student doesn't secure a GPA of 7.5 or above, he/she will have to pay the fee for that semester, which will be around ?50,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since DoS provides scholarship for Under-Graduate and Dual Degree students, there's no other scholarship offered by the college. But the Post-Graduate students can get monthly stipend from MHRD and also the college gives stipend for PhD students for their research work.

Admission
I wrote JEE(Mains) and JEE(Advanced) Engineering Entrance Exams in the year 2014 and after the ranklist is out for both I applied for admission in this college. They'll prepare a separate ranklist of people who applied for this college based on both JEE(Mains) and JEE(Advanced). They'll call the people in ranklist for counselling and they'll give admission to people according to their position in ranklist.
