Remarks

AWH Engineering college have a good management, faculties ans also a placement team. All the facilities are available including canteen,college bus,Library,labs, Girls hostel, WiFi, Sports equipment and ground etc. No boys hostel is the one and only one negative remark

Course Curriculum Overview

Various curricular activities are held by AWH management.Also have an exam control cell including HOD's of various departments controlled by the Principal. Very strict in exam hall and malpractices are punishable.

Placement Experience

Various placement training and job opportunities are conducting the college management.placement for mechanical engineering students are less. More IT company,construction company and electronic company are participating in the camous recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Various fees structure are available. According to the entrance rank fees are vary. There are three various categories: 1. State Merit, 2. Backward ( SC , ST , OBC , OEC etc) 3. NRI ( including management and NRI Seats).

Fees and Financial Aid

Awh engineering college provides various scholarships for talented students and various scholarships for the students those who are awarded high Marks in the university exam. Also various other scholarships from the central and state government are available.

Awh engineering college have good labs with high quality equipments and experienced lab assistants. And also have a Physical education trainer who is helpful for conducting sports day and various tournaments and also helpful for motivating and training the students for inter college tournaments.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of Awh engineering college is very helpful and they collect dress, food items, etc for the people in the wayanad & malappuram district those who are affected by the flood. Also provide flood relief kits for the people in Nilambur.

Admission

State Merit, I got the admission through the Entrance examination (KEAM) rank. Admission process is simple by submitting the certificates like SSLC , PLUS TWO, TRANSFER, MIGRATION, INCOME, NATIVITY CERTIFICATE, KEAM ADMIT CARD AND MARK LIST, PASSPORT SIZE PHOTO etc.

Awh engineering college have a good management and faculties.every department have Supportive HOD, staffs and assistants. Also a student committee for each subject consists of 4 students a corresponding staff. Every month there is a meeting with the presence of the HOD for improving Classes.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
