Remarks

There are both sides positive as well as a negative side too the attendance of 75% is compulsory and which is so irritating as per the marks are calculated on basis of the attendance if you have less attendance the mid sem marks are cut.

Placement Experience

The placements are organized by Training and placement officer in college but very few companies are coming to college. The college is not providing any internships. The college experience is good but they don't have placements that much.

College Events

This is the best thing every festival is celebrated with full joy in all events and festival DJ is being called for enjoyment the annual day and techfest are celebrated every year and all students take part in it. The college is having a festival celebrated on Navratri, in which 9 days at evening Garba are played and Ganpati festival is celebrated too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible as anyone can afford that much amount. The fees structure is said that be 30000 per semester. This means that the fees per year cost 60000 rs as per academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is offering many scholarships. Minorities scholarships. TFWS is offered by the government of Gujarat. Dr. Ambedkar scholarships are offered by the Gujarat government and in this scheme the hostel fees are refunded back.

Campus Life

The sports festival is celebrated every year and sports can be played by any student at recess time or in any free period. The lab's infrastructure is good and it has access to the internet too. The extracurricular activities are very much happening every week.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are very thankful that after passing out they are also so helpful nature they helped in every problem and has nature to solve our problems too. The alumni students mostly tried for master's degrees from abroad.

Faculty

The faculty are very helpful as per I am in Information Technology I have been knowing about this field only but the humanity and science department faculty are awesome they have a good grasp on there subjects no one can even fail in their subjects that much interestingly they taught to us.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Students are required to clear MHTCET with a good score of a minimum 97 percentile if they are in a general category. Students have to move through CAP rounds as decided by the MHTCET cell. Students of SC/ST or OBC quota can avail benefits of percentile reduction as well they would be having a discounted fee of 4,648 which is very great for them. The admission process is fine , students are selected on basis of scores secured in JEE Mains , MHTCET and in addition to caste based reservation some seats are also reserved for students from Jammu and Kashmir. I wanted to get into top 3 engineering college in maharashtra via mhtcet as my JEE mains didn't fetch me seat in top 7 Nits . So while filling form of CAP I filled all branch of government college such as COEP , VJTI, SPCE because of their reputation and legacy of many decades. Then I got SPCE civil in 2 nd round of CAP .
